My family and I really enjoyed the food here last night. Everything was very fresh and flavourful as it comes from either their local farm or other local farms around Hamilton. Our waitress said everything is organic, including the meat even though it's not stated on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful including providing a soup sample for my wife to try before committing to ordering a side soup with her burger. The eggplant parmesan was honestly my favourite, very fresh and flavourful, wonderful textures with a thin, light, crispy coating of breadcrumbs and perfectly cooked eggplant that wasn't mushy or watery. My Mac and Cheese with side Artichoke soup was really good. I never order Mac and Cheese at restaurants but I thought I'd try theirs and it was great; toasted breadcrumb top with an onion, bacon mac and cheese below. The soup was very tasty and well balanced, there wasn't anything that was too overpowering. I had a pint of their Fairweather High Grade IPA, it's a nice juicy, tropical IPA with a pineapple, mango, nectarine and peach notes at 6.2%. My wife had the cheeseburger with side Artichoke soup as well. The burger was tasty, not greasy and well portioned. My sister-in-law had the Arugula and Fennel salad without the buttermilk dressing as she is vegetarian and it was no problem, they brought her a vinaigrette dressing which she asked for instead. My brother had the Millenial Falcon pizza 11" which he enjoyed but did notice was a little runny and became soggy from sitting in a small pool of liquid. My mom had the Bee Sting pizza 11" which was tasty with the fresh basil leaves on top giving it particularly nice flavour as you bite through them. The pistachio aioli she asked for as a dipping sauce was quite nice as well, not very punchy with flavour but good. She also ordered a bread pudding with vanilla icecream after which was quite tasty as well, a thick dense rectangular slice of pudding with minimal sauce which made the icecream all the more important to give the pudding some moisture. Not that the pudding was overly dry, just dense. My dad had the Apple Bacon pizza 11" which I've eaten before and it's quite good. He enjoyed it and it is quite filling so don't be afraid to take some home.

Overall we enjoyed our meal and trying together, great staff and excellent quality food that's very fresh and flavourful. A few nitpicks might be that as soon as we entered we noticed it was freezing inside and my pregnant wife was cold, especially during the long wait for our food. The wait was worth it and I didn't time it but it felt around maybe 20-25 minutes. And this place isn't cheap, my wife didn't get a drink and neither of us got dessert and we still dropped $65 after tax and tip for a burger and Mac and cheese with a pint. That being said, it's well worth the price for the quality, flavour and freshness of ingredients. Definitely a great place to go for a healthy,...

A friend recommended this place and my wife, our 11 month old, and I came to try it out.

The restaurant was incredibly clean. It looked newly renovated, and the entire vibe of the restaurant was relaxing and casual. The decor and interior design was beautiful.

When we arrived, we were immediately offered a high chair for our baby. Some restaurants don't have them, so it was nice to see. They had a kids menu, which we couldn't order from since our little one wasn't eating adult food yet, but they do have one! They also had a changing table in one of the bathrooms.

I ordered the "all-you-can-enjoy" and my wife ordered a pizza with half pepperoni and half special, my wife enjoyed her pizza, I didn't get a chance to try any of hers. The ayca menu was absolutely incredible. My wife saw the items on that menu and decided not to try it, since the menu items were more "intricate" and she is not one to try new foods. But everything from the appetisers all the way to the dessert was a banger. The intricacies that my wife avoided was heaven for me. Ingredients were elevated, unique, and delicious. If you're remotely interested in trying new things I would choose this option. I ordered at least one of everything on their ayce menu. The steak was my favourite, next the fois gras parfait (may not be for everyone), and both desserts the cheesecake and profiterole. But I can't stress enough how good everything else was. I was told that the menu is only seasonal, and that they switch things around ever few months. I will try the new menu when it rolls around.

Paul was my server, and he was incredibly kind and helpful. We never ran out of water, and took the time to ask for our feedback. Drinks took a hot second, but the sangria was great when it arrived. The rest of the staff were also nice and kind, even interacting with other baby. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood. I did feel like they were understaffed. Poor Paul was running around like crazy, but even with that, the service was on point.

We have only been here once, but on the random Wednesday we went the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes more elevated food, or want to try something...

I arrived early for our reservation at 5 and was seated waiting for my friends to follow. Waitress was great and tended to my needs while I waited.

We had requested a longer stay period when we reserved it 2 months prior.

We had our meals and began sharing out our gifts to on another. Enjoy ourselves, creating Christmas memories. People around seemed to be ok with our silliness. We were very respectful but we were having fun.

Suddenly out of nowhere this lady shows almost angry and suggested that we get things cleared up and gave us 15 minutes to clear out. Our friend still had a glass of wine she was enjoying, we she only received because bartender was a little slow at getting it. It was 7:15 or close to that time.

After enjoying a great meal and having a great time that was so rudely interrupted by this so called shift manager. We spoke to her and of course she denied that she was rushing us out???? I felt like I was being was being scolded like a child.

After a great night, this women was very rude and condescending and just left us all with a bad taste in our mouth.

Just to be clear our waitress was amazing and the food great but we won't be coming back to be rushed out. It Christmas time and we wanted to enjoy our time not there to wolf down our food and get out as the restaurant seems to want. They had so many rules that I couldn't keep up. Exception is a rule for customer service. Pick your battles ...you picked the wrong group to scold! We are not 12 and your cookie as a piece offering didn't make...

We love bread bar but…you should really be consistent about your pricing. Since the pizza and pints began we’ve been twice on a mon-tues where we’ve ordered pizza. The first time I did not need to purchase a drink to qualify for the pizza deal. Today I was told I had to. I don’t drink anything other than water for dietary/health related reasons so this put me off. I felt put on the spot to order a buble (as we already decided on our order and I literally can’t drink alcohol or anything with sugar). unfortunately the carbonation made me feel unwell (I have an illness that has tons of odd dietary restrictions) and it kinda ruined an otherwise enjoyable meal…the waitress was lovely. I have no complaints about her. I questioned the policy and she explained that that’s just what it is. Had the menu or website been more explicit that I needed to order a drink to get the reduced price on the pizza and/or had my two experiences been consistent I wouldn’t have felt backed into a corner. I either wouldn’t have come today or I simply would have ordered something else but I was really caught off guard. You might want to be more upfront with customers that they have to order a beverage to take advantage of that deal or similar promotions. It might not seem like a big deal and I can certainly afford the drink but not being transparent does violate consumer law in Ontario and it left a bad taste in our mouth.

From the modern and fun aesthetics to the incredibly tasty food, this was a clear winner for me in Hamilton. I was genuinely surprised since I'm not a 'bread' person but they do such great food that aren't bread focus that I'm happy to come back. The spacious interior is bright and inviting and it is nice enough for a cute date night (saw a few tables like this) to bigger family gathering (one table had easily 10 people). Service here is happy, pleasant, and thoughtful. They were constantly checking in on us and it was quick as well. The salads are legit good... not some anemic leafy thing with bottle dressing. This was filled with great ingredients (quinoa, cheese, beans, chickpeas, lots of wonderful greens...) and it tasted amazing. I would happily eat this again. The soup was something you'd imagine out of a grandma's kitchen. It tasted freshly made and seasoned well. I was happy to get the soup and salad combo. The burger was juicy and topped with amazing cheese and mushroom combo. The fries were crispy and hot. Just overall amazing. Definitely would come back to try their bread platter (I drooled when I saw the table beside us get theirs) and the pizza (they're insanely giant so you need at least 4 people!).
