Checked this “Dog Cafe/Restaurant” out this day, on St. Patrick’s Day 2022. When we arrived, we’re greeted by a friendly staff on hand, I assume the proprietor and his staff (all accommodating and congenial). Really excellent concept to get out with your dog(s), and experience the joy of being with other breeds of dogs and dog lovers, and all their owners. On this occasion, because of COVID restrictions still partially in effect (the large back room was closed and the outside patio area not open yet). Opening soon, weather permitting, our dog had a blast, mingling with the other well behaved dogs (off leash). Plenty of water and treats available for dogs, and a menu of food for the dog owners. Can enjoy a nice selection of beverages plus menu of selected items, from desserts to hot dogs, burgers, chilli, fries etc. Tables were spread all out and masks were worn entering and standing up, following all COVID protocols that are supposed to change March 21/2022. On this day, wife and I and Pixie (our 23 lbs mini Collie) enjoyed our time there. We just had the cheesy fries and a coffee and pop. Didn’t try anything else on the menu, but the burgers looked good, treats for the dogs for sale (no outside food requested). ...

The seating is basic, kept open to allow the 4 legged guest space. It's very clean, the ownership takes pride in keeping the seating area clean; a constant venture considering the presence of dogs.
The food was underwhelming. (More on that below) The drip coffee was good, the Hot Chocolate was presented well.
The food: ordered a BLT. Got a dismal tiny cocktail sized sandwich made from two heel rye slices. ~3"x5", one piece of lettuce, two slice of tomato, two pieces of Schneider's bacon, a small spread of mayo, and a single pickle cut in half as garnish. A bag of Doritos on the side. $8.99
The owner: I don't know what to make of Jim. The greeting and seating was pleasant and welcoming. However during the hour that I visited, on multiple occasions the owner was being passive aggressive towards customers, had an angry outburst and displayed outward hostility to having to clean up after a pet accident (not ours), and when I went to use the restroom, overheard him being quite belligerent to the staff in the kitchen/back room.
verdict: Not going to return, the concept is great, the execution should work, but sadly ownership is...
Read moreThis place is great. We took our 115lb Bernedoodle there this past Sunday. There were a couple of dogs inside already who came to greet Declan. Once Declan was comfortable, we took him off leash to explore.
The other pet owners paid close attention to their pets to make sure they behaved. It was a great experience for our pup.
When we first got in, the owner came and greeted us and gave us the rundown of the rules. The rules are no more than common sense for responsible pet owners - clean up after your dog, here are the supplies to help you clean up after your dog, keep an eye on your dog ... the normal stuff, nothing outrageous. The staff is very friendly and welcoming!
They have special events each month, we missed the Easter photos by one day, but then again Declan wouldn't have fit in any of the costumes😄
They have specialty items for your dog too! We got the pumpkin bagel for Declan. It comes with cheese. Make sure to tell your server if your dog has any sensitivity. Declan loved his bagel. They also carry Yupp Muttballs!
We'll be going back for sure. Declan slept well that night!
Btw. Sorry, no pictures. I was pretty focused on D and also petting all...
