Sana Grill — Restaurant in Hamilton

Two days ago, I got food poisoning after eating at this restaurant. Despite having a strong stomach and rarely getting sick, I experienced intense symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea. It was shocking, especially because the food I was served was in terrible condition. I ordered two shawarma poutines, and all the fries were completely BURNT—not just overcooked, but blackened and inedible. I can’t imagine the low standards it takes to serve customers food like this.

I’ve been coming to this location for over a year and primarily order poutine. While prices have understandably increased with the economy, the quality has PLUMMETED. I've noticed this as the year has gone by, the food has gotten worse.

Honestly feel sad that this has happened because my experience had been nothing but great and the gentlemen at the counter are very friendly as well.

however, after my last experience I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. i hope they can reflect...

I am posting on my friend's account but I just wanted to thank you all for working so hard. I visit every now and then and typically get the shawarma and shawarma poutine, which is the best shawarma/poutine in the entire area (and that says a lot about the fries and the chicken you use)! My most recent visit was a few weeks ago (June 30th 2023) and this location was staffed with two people (and one delivery driver) and it is amazing to see the young men working so quickly on the line, delegating to one another. One even thanked me for my patience, which tells me a lot of customers are not patient with them sadly (dear customers, you have to wait for your food sometimes, so be thankful instead of demanding it be done within YOUR desired time; these men work very hard and can't you see that they're trying during the busiest hours? I had a disappointing experience at SanaGrill. The employees were rude, barely spoke to you, and spent most of their time speaking in their own language in front of customers, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. To make things worse, one of the workers was on the phone using a Bluetooth headset while taking my order—showing zero effort in customer service.

The food quality was also lacking and definitely not worth the price gave me the runs after. On top of that, they tried to get me to leave a 5-star review in exchange for a free pop, which makes you question how many of their good reviews are even real.

Before visiting, I’d recommend checking the lowest-rated reviews my experience seems to be a recurring issue especially the food making you sick- Hopefully, management takes action to improve their staff’s professionalism and the overall quality...
