I am so confused, I usually come here on a Saturday never once have I gone on a Sunday! But wow am I ever disappointed, I cannot believe how this visit went! It went from being a 5 star rating, to 2 star very quickly! So first we got there pretty much just in time, looked like a party ended but there were no tables cleaned! And a waiter said ahe was going to wash off this table, and I kindly asked can u please wash this one we like to sit here! And she said oh ya for sure! Was very nice about it! And she didn't even have no cleaning supplies or nothing and we sat at a dirty table, she used a dry cloth there was some nasty white stuff all over the table, but we hate making a big deal over something small! So I said whatever it's all good! Until I seen another young lady taking the time to wash the tables properly for the next family they had a very nice clean table! My mom and daughter ordered the usual which was the chicken tenders and me and my other daughter order a chicken wrap which is made put of the chicken tenders! And I couldn't believe the size of the tenders it literally looked like someone sliced them down the middle the were so small and skinny and definitely not worth it, my mom gets this plate all the time and she is struggling to finish her tenders but she was so hungry still after her meal! Last time she got that plate the tenders were huge! I can't believe they charged us at regular price that's insane! I loved this place I am so hoping it was just a bad day! Oh yes and service was horrible! I asked a lady nicely if she can get my daughter an apple juice because it came with her meal! She said yes of course very nicely and never came back! I got it because someone who wasn't wanting our table asked how we were and I said she didn't get her apple juice yet and have been waiting awhile! She was done her meal! So for that I usually am a big tipper I didn't leave one that day I felt bad that I didn't but I felt neglected at this place! When we go on Saturdays the workers are amazing and attentive! Also have a pic of what my chicken tender looked like in my wrap and what my moms looked like and u can see the difference! We paid good money...

I have been to this bar / restaurant multiple times since they have changed the name to boiler and whistle. I was there when they started doing their muscle specials.. I genuinely enjoy their muscles. So for that I will give them a good rating. As far as their service generally it is decent. Nothing to write home about you really are playing roulette on who you end up with as a server. Their best server is the middle age lady that usually works evenings. I forgot her name but she is always an absolute sweetheart and she makes you feel like you are a friend not a customer. The food that comes out of the kitchen aside from the muscles I have had countless times in my opinion is subpar. For example, my wife, ordered chicken strips. Generally a very easy menu item that is pretty hard to foul up. They came to the table and the breading was sticky slimy and coming off the chicken, yet the chicken was cooked internally to the point of it having the texture of sawdust. I worked in kitchens for multiple years as well as a strip chain. I am very puzzled as to how this was obtained. They're obviously fresh cooked chicken strips not of the frozen variety, so kudos to you for that, but they were so damn dry I swear I almost choked trying to swallow it. Lastly I don't know how this happened but somehow someway, a Zyn nicotine pouch ended up in my drink when it came to my table. Whether it was out of the server's mouth or not is up in the air and quite honestly would rather not know. There was two separate drinks that were unable to be made for me due to not having the right ingredients behind the bar. And let me tell you they were pretty basic drinks. Between all this, as well as closing before stated on your posted hours of service...I have given you guys a fair shake on numerous occasions to get your things right And I have to say unfortunately I will not be...

EDIT: Mary and Jordan are back. The service is better than it's ever been and I'm happy to report that I will HAPPILY come back every week again.

I have never witnessed a shift in atmosphere in any bar like this place has had the last month. The food has always been consistently good. But the NEW friday night staff has been truly lacking. Before, for a 2.5 hour visit, we'd have around 4-5 beers. With refills being offered BEFORE the glass is empty. Now, the staff just drops off a menu, doesn't ask if I want a drink. 1 beer in 2 hours because that's how often I was asked if I wanted a refill. After a full year of coming here religiously and missing 3 Fridays in 2024; I will NEVER come back unless Mary comes back. We all heard what the new owners did to her hours.
