Debated on posting this but ultimately I think my visit was just negative enough to warrant a comment of some sort.
Visited the other day, first time in maybe a year or two. Asked for the combo I know I liked, a Crunchwrap combo, and declined the upgrade to fries supreme, which prompted a lot of back and forth between myself and the employee taking my order. I repeatedly had to ask for clarification as the employee was double backing over her words about the new nacho fries, confusing herself and me, and with every question I had she became more and more angry. I haven’t tried the nacho fries, hadn’t heard of them until this visit, and how the staff explained them made them sound unappealing and I asked for plain fries instead. After accepting this request she continued pressuring me to order more, despite making it clear I only wanted 1 combo. At her third attempt to upsell me I drove up to the window and clarified my order (and fixed it, input incorrectly and no drink specified) with the staff member at the window, who was much friendlier and much more professional. I pay, I sit, I receive my drink, and what I didn’t realise is that to receive my plain fries I had to wait for a fresh batch. I only discovered this due to the ranting among staff standing in the kitchen about how “omg seriously? I have to make a special batch just for her? Why can’t she just take it as it is? Can you believe this?” Which again, I didn’t realise they were making a special batch, this was not mentioned, and it would have been good practice to do so as I had to wait at the window for 7 minutes just for some fries. Partway through my wait the staff from the window (the ranting took place without her, I don’t believe she took part) came to close it, as I was looking in and I think she realized I could hear them gossiping about me. Eventually I got my food, the food was fine, nothing special, but the fries were actually great, reminded me of Costco fries so that’s a win. However, everything else was inappropriate. If i as a member of staff became angry about clarifying questions, or if I gossiped and ranted about customers in front of them, I would be expecting a warning or a write up...
Read moreI am absolutely disgusted right now. I’ve never in a million years ever made a bad review ... but this is needed on my car ride home. No disrespect but I’d like to know how this store hires it’s employees. The girl in kitchen tonight was so unbelievably rude. I just finished a 9 hour work shift and was VERY UNDERSTANDING about the wait. I told the girl very nicely I asked for the food to go not for here. No apology she just sighed and threw all my stuff in a bag and passed it off. Didn’t even make eye contact. I’m a VERY easy going individual who is completely understanding when people have bad days but my fiancé and I will no longer use this location. Awful shame because the location is perfect for us. I’d love to see your employees a little happier. I understand it’s not a fun filled job but I deserve the same respect I give . And I am so upset right now my entire day is ruined to the point I felt the need to type this on the car ride home. (Also your cashier was lovely, but she did leave us multiple times to assist other customers while I was making my order~ I’m not sure what policies are but I had to stop talking 4-5 times) I’m terribly sorry for the review I truly am. I honestly don’t know what happened to Taco Bell. They used to be wonderful. When my family and I arrived at the drive thru we were being rushed while we were trying to gather our thoughts. It felt like we were set on some type of timer. Next, to my surprise, upon deciding what to order I realized that Taco Bell no longer includes fries supreme for the big box but, have now lower their standards to regular fries. We all then opted for fries supreme for an additional cost but, they still ended up messing up one of our orders. Let’s just say my cousin was not a happy camper when we arrived back to the house. Also, when asked if we wanted hot sauce we agreed and asked for a lot. Again, when we got home we were surprised to find only 3 packets of hot sauce and 10 packets of mild sauce. HOWEVER, the most disappointing part of this experience was opening our meals. The room went from all shines and smiles, to a gloomy storm of darkness. I never imagined Taco Bell to stoop this low. The tacos were quarter way filled and the quesarito was literally half bread. I don’t understand. The quesarito used to be filled and alone used to get me full.
