UPDATE I have now rated this location 1 star because they're closed AGAIN a month (if that) after reopening after almost a year of being under renovations with no indication of when they plan on re-reopening. They've just slapped a sign on the front doors saying they're closed and theyre not sure when they will open again.** Old review: The reason I only give this place two stars is because they just reopened after about 9 months to a year of renovations, they have this wide open space and they aren't putting in chairs and they no longer have washrooms as when they did people were going in there to get high, and they were nodding out/falling asleep, and creating a huge lineup for people needing to use the rest rooms as intended. I understand this is not an ideal situation at all, but there are a lot of paying customers who use the washrooms for what they're intended for and we no longer have that option because of a few people who had to ruin it for the entire bunch. They also have a creepy two way mirror/window in the managers office that the manager can see out of, but you cant see in. If you want to stay and have your coffee you'll have to do it standing because there is no longer anywhere to sit as they only have a bar style table lining the wall with no chairs or stools. It's unfortunate because this used to be mine and my boyfriends main Tim Hortons that wed go to to sit and have coffee etc. The staff are relatively quick, and very friendly, but it's just not worth it due to the aforementioned reasons and there are others with washrooms and seating near by. I'm not sure why the renovations took so long seeing as they didnt have to re do the washrooms or add in tables or chairs, they could have made it like the main and Wentworth location and just done a little walk in style with a drive through, it just seems like a huge waste of space. It's a fairly large Tim Hortons and most of it is just a place for people to...
Read morefirstly, i love this location because most of the employees are super nice. Especially the people that worked here about a year ago.
HOWEVER, there are some problems with the business, that i believe fall directly on the owner/managers. When i go in the mornings, if i make a mobile order they will serve two or three rounds of customers before i get my order. And i mean, they will serve the 5 people in line when i get there, the 5 people that come in as the first 5 are leaving, and sometimes a third round too. I do believe this is largely a management issue, as well as an under-staffing, and training issue, as opposed to a customer service/person issue. The hourly workers are great, and there are usually not more than 3 present, even at peak times. The owner is not hiring an appropriate amount of staff for the job. This sucks because the people that work there all seem like very nice and competent people, but their workload is way too high for the pay they receive. Understaffing also leads to the workers dealing with verbal abuse, that i have seen countless times. This is upsetting to both the customer, because i get to watch an old man scream at a

But I bought an oat milk latte that had definitely been run through a mouldy machine. I have a pretty high tolerance to expired food so I just thought it tasted off, but my roommate (who is allergic to mould) threw up almost immediately after I let him have some.
The manager needs to allot an extra worker specifically to take care of thoroughly cleaning the more difficult equipment on a schedule if they haven't already. Do not count on this getting completed in downtime - I don't think this store experiences enough steady downtime for extensive cleaning tasks to be completed without unduly stressing out the staff.
This is a really easy thing to overlook so I do not blame anyone for this mistake. It is also an easy enough fix. My roommate used to work at Tim Horton's and said it was likely that the machine's tubes hadn't been properly soaked clean in a while. Please take care to inspect for cleanliness more frequently than is strictly necessary to pass inspections. Otherwise, this store is great and the endurance of the staff make it a...
