This place is truly a korean style kareoke. It's worth the price if you book a room with 10 to 15 people. The rooms are beautiful and there's nice lights and it's clean and spacious. You get access to YouTube thru wifi on the big screen and can choose to sing kareoke if you want or you can even just play music and dance in your own private party room.
There is paid street parking and a paid parking lot right beside the venue, but I didn't use that, I planned a ride there because I planned to drink.
The only bad problem was the food prices. If they fix that, we would definitely go back! We got the small plate of French fries shown on the picture and it was 18 dollars. The plate of french fries could feed one person or maybe 2, we were expecting a platter for 18$ (24 with tax). I don't think the prices when you book a room for the food are the same price as the takeout food. The drink shown in the picture was 23 dollars, which means for 2 drinks paid ontop of the room prices it's 46 dollars for 2 mixed drinks. Our party paid 130 dollars for 12 beers. This is all ontop of renting the room prices. It included some food allowances with the room price for alcohol and food so we got 2 bottles of liq and 2 plates of rice for 400. Plus the room rental from 7pm til 2 am. Was 300. The price for the room for the entire night was great! No complaints there. Its everything else we ordered (mixed drinks, french fries, beer) that was on top.
Overall good experience, but they need to make their portion sizes bigger, or change the prices down lower on food and drinks. I know the prices for food and drinks are posted on the website so we were aware of it before we went but we were not aware of the portion size for what we were paying. The food quality and taste was good.
Overall the kareoke...
Read moreIt pains me to rate this low, but I felt incredibly ripped off walking out of here. First, let me preface that all the staff that were here, were very kind, and I had no issue with service per say. I called ahead of time to confirm what the price was $10/person/hour. When I went in I double-checked and was again told it was $10/hour/person. I decided to eat first, and there was no issue with the food - it was good and you get a fair portion. Alcoholic beverages are priced okay too, but a jug of juice was $30. Juice. Just juice. When we were brought down to our room, after it had been set up for us, I again triple checked the price, to which there was a reply of "yes, it's $10/hour/person.. plus an additional $35 room fee". I should have walked out there, but considering I planned on staying for a few hours, I just wanted to continue on with my night. I saw other reviews saying the navigation for the system was confusing and assumed these people must not have been tech savvy. I was terribly wrong, and while song choices were limited, we weren't even able to search for songs or artists and had to scroll through 2000 pages in non-alphabetical order. After 20 minutes I had asked for assistance and the staff member wasn't able to figure out how to search for artists either and had just told me the search function doesn't work. I had mentioned that some reviews say that we could connect our phone, or go onto YouTube - to which I was told the app and that function doesn't work anymore. So we disappointingly stayed for the remaining hour and left with a $60 bill for 2 people for 1 hour for the karaoke portion alone (because they also included an automatic gratuity fee) Additionally the drinks we ordered from the front never came. I would...
Read moreI was craving for some Beef Chow Mein, while watching the CFL, Hamilton Ti-Cats. Never heard of this place, I ordered off “Skip the Dishes” through this restaurant. I only ordered a small order-1 Beef Chow Mein and 1 order of Breaded chicken wings. I applied a generous gratuity for the driver, only for him to hit he’s arrived? On my notice of delivery, he wouldn’t bring food up to apartment and drop as requested on delivery instructions. Wife had to go downstairs to pick it up. Diver said they don’t go up and deliver because of COVID, put on a bloody mask! Food came WRONG food, had Beef Lo Mein NOT Chow Mein. There’s a huge difference, I don’t like Lo Mein, it was all small noodles with bits of beef and veggies on top. Wasn’t impressed at all, the wings were OK, better the next day. I guess I’ll look else where for Chinese food, (and pick it up myself) if they don’t want to do the job, don’t do it. I’ve had all other “Skip” drivers come up...
