I come here once or twice a week because I love their mixed shawarma plate. I sent my brother today to get me and my mom 2 plates and when I got it, it was super dry, oily, the salad was very soggy and they did not ask him if he wanted garlic sauce. I went in very nicely to a lady because I hate complaining and she always makes my plate whenever I go there so I greeted her by asking her “hi! Do you remember me” she greeted me with an attitude saying, “no I deal with a lot.” I didn’t mind and just showed her the two food containers and told her how it was not up to the same standard I always recieve from them and that I was disappointed. One container was untouched and the other one (for my mom) she stirred some of the chicken with the salad before trying it. The lady said “okay and??? What do I do with these???” And I said “nothing, we will not be eating these and haven’t touched them so I would like my money back.” She murmured “one of them is already eaten but I’ll ask” and went and asked the manager at the back and then she came back and said “okay but one of them is eaten” I told her “where is it eaten?” And opened both containers infront of her and she said “okay fine half is eaten so I’ll only give you back half” to which I had to explain that the chicken is mixed with the salad in that portion of the container for the 3rd time. Then she said “fine” and rolled her eyes and told me to take it with me because they don’t have a garbage. Very dissapointed that this is how they treat their regular customers. Will never be...
Read moreROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: meat should not be cooked twice on a flat cook top/ squirted it with liquid. This is the lazy way of serving shawarma possibly to save time as it is being precut. This is not how shawarma is served if you go to a real shawarma restaurant because it ruins the taste and you get dry burned meat. Every time I am served here with meat cooked again on the flat top, the meat is burned and tastes awful. Please refrain from this practice and talk to your staff. Why would I want precut meat that has sat in a metal container cold, and has to be reheated and squirt with oil. Cut the meat fresh from the rotisserie like it should be done. If it is about saving time to precut the meat in advance then I don't want to eat here any more. For the price you charge for a plate of shawarma it should be done right. Meat portion has been smaller and smaller every time I eat here. I'm paying 15 dollars after tax for a plate. Flat bread should be served with every platter and not upon request. Owner and staff please Google Shawarma palace in Ottawa to see...
Read morePossibly the worst experience ever . The food was no even edible . We ordered off of Uber eats and got a chicken with rice and a side of garlic sauce and hummus and falafel. The hummus was so watery and tasteless. The pita was stale and smelled funny . The chicken was dry and smelled weird . The rice was disgusting and it was disturbing you would even sell or serve people food like this . We literally grabbed the order threw it all out and just ordered again from another restaurant. The only thing decent was the falafel with wasn't even that good. Would never try again and don't care about the 60 dollars wasted I just wanna make sure no one has to go through what me and...
