Second Cup Café — Restaurant in Hamilton

This location is great for the most part but days like today would be rated one star. The experience when ordering was decent but did not appreciate the passive aggressive attitude from the older woman when retrieving my drink. - Earlier today my sister and I went to Second Cup and ordered our seperate drinks. As she ordered right before me I expected to receive my drink right after her, but that wasn't the case. The two customers that ordered after me, the same drink as my sister and I, received their drinks before me. As the older lady called out the order, same as what I ordered, I went to grab one cup and the older woman preceded to call out the order while turning to me and said that it was THEIR drink. I asked her where my drink was because I was technically right after my sister. The older lady held up the cup with my name on it and said with attitude, " your drink is coming up!" When my drink was finally made the older woman scorned, " here's YOUR drink!"- on another note.. since the same owner owns all three locations in the Hamilton area, why does two medium caramel correto drinks come up to less than ten dollars after tax at the upper James location but one medium caramel correto came up to $5.25 at the upper Wentworth...

Delicious Treats and Great Atmosphere at Second Cup

I recently stopped by Second Cup for a quick break, and I was delighted with the experience. I ordered a piece of New York-style cheesecake and a Caramel Corretto with whipped cream topping, and both were absolutely delicious!

The cheesecake was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. It tasted fresh and paired wonderfully with my Caramel Corretto. The coffee was perfectly brewed with just the right amount of caramel flavor, and the whipped cream on top added a nice, indulgent touch.

The atmosphere at Second Cup is cozy and inviting, but the mall noise make its a little hard to hear a conversation with friends, wearing headphones or ear buds reduces the noice alot.

If you are okay with some mall noice second cup makes it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends.

The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring I had everything I needed to enjoy my treat. I highly recommend leaving a tip even if its a small one, the team here go above and beyond to make sure the guests order is to thier satisfaction.

I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu items. If you're a fan of great coffee and desserts, Second Cup is a must-visit!

Decent service, attentive staff, and easily the best hot chocolate from any chain. Starbucks, Tims cannot handle a candle to Second Cup. I really wish there were more locations here in Hamilton! Their smoothies are also good too and they even put protein powder in one of the smoothies making it a good healthy choice. Their pasteries are also pretty good too and they have ones that no other cafe chain has as well, such as naniamo bars for example. Their location is central and right in the middle of the 1st floor, making it a convenient place to grab a drink and a bite before going and browsing and shopping around the rest...
