Sweet Jesus — Restaurant in Hamilton

I haven't been to the mall in years, and I've been wanting to try Sweet Jesus since I've read about it on social media. Today I finally gave it a try. I was very disappointed. I tried the churro bites. I didn't have very high expectations for the churro bites, since the best churros are hot out of the fryer with a nice crunchy outside, and a soft chewy inside. But I was at least expecting them to be edible. They were like eating cinnamon and sugar coated loofah sponges. Absolutely terrible. I have a sweet tooth and will usually eat anything as long as it has some sugar in it. These went in the trash. I would give this a 1 star if it was based on the churro bites alone, but the ice cream itself was nice, and the cinnamon sugar topping with caramel and chocolate sauce drizzle was a yummy touch. But those churro bites were a crime...

I personally LOVED IT! For the people who are saying "its cheap flavourless ice cream" newsflash soft serve is suppose to be "light and fluffy". I personally think Mcdonalds and Dairy Queen weigh down their ice cream its too sweet and dense. So if you prefer that all the power to you. This ice cream is like the kind you get off an ice cream truck. Your not going to get strong flavours in soft serve. You should aim for the churned "hard" style if thats what your looking for. If you want a light and airy dessert that combines cake, brownies or cookies with ice cream, you will love this place.

Is it pricey? Ya I would say so but are the portions HUGE, ya they are. Is it delicious? I think so. Would I come back again? In a heart beat. Am I laughing at the people who are offended by the...

I ordered the brownie milkshake and at the risk of sounding overly dramatic, I will tell you that "sweet Jesus" was said more than once while I drank it. My mind is blown- it was SO GOOD but very sweet. Highly recommend. Also, this location says it's open until 11pm on Saturday despite being in a mall that closes at 9pm. We went anyway even though we knew the mall wasn't open and it seemed strange. We arrived, saw the mall doors were locked so I called their phone number. Sure enough, someone answered and told us to meet them at door 1 to be let in. We were greeted by the nicest young lady who walked us to the counter and made a s the most delicious treats.
