Easily the worst Wendy's experience I've had.
Ordered a son of baconator with no cheese, and only extra ketchup and extra pickles for my child and a chili cheese nachos, and I got a number 2 with a large chilli and a drink.
We got our food and I went to make my drink, the machine didn't have the flavour I wanted so I went to the next machine. The other machine was broken and said ice only. I went back to the first machine and tried selecting 4 other drinks which were all unavailable. Eventually I settled on something else, tried to make ice and nothing happens. Returned to the other ice only machine, made my ice and then poured my drink. Tried to get a lid and they were all stuck sideways preventing access to the size small. Requiring two hands I set my bag down and it flopped over sideways my chilling landing upside down on the floor which was covered in ketchup. It didn't spill thankfully although the lid was now gross from the floor. condition. I eventually got a lid out and tried my drink. Which I found to be warm and flat.
I went to the counter to request they make me one, which I had to ask for several times to get through. Finally we sat down to eat and my kid opens their burger and it has cheese on it (and the patties are really old) we request a new one and my kid returns with their fresh burger to open it up and find there is no bacon on their son of a baconator.
The staff attending us with our issues was almost wordless in their handling of the issues with our food, let alone representing an apologetic manner, she just handed us the items saying here you go. We were most definitely polite despite our frustration. While we sat and ate our disappointing food, listening to the crackly speaker blaring pop music, and the Wendy's staff singing to their Bluetooth Indian pop music, I looked at my chili and nachos to see that to my bewilderment that somehow the chili meat looked raw, which as someone who worked at Wendy's for 7 years through school, knows how it's prepared that should be impossible. But nonetheless the majority of the meat was an extremely odd red colour, not to mention the chilli was barely warm.
Surprisingly there was nothing wrong with my double. honestly as someone who no longer often choose Wendy's as their fast food option, the experience had here will reduce the odds of choosing it again dramatically, and assuredly never this location...
Read moreThis is my wife's and my "Go To" Wendy's, but only because they have the pop machine that lets you choose your flavor of pop (I love Cherry Coke). Last night had to be one of the WORST trips we've had there. To start, we were in line for almost 5-10 min before even being able to place our order. While my wife waited in line, I went and cleared a table because over half the tables weren't cleared of previous people sitting at them. There was tables with beverages, trays, food, napkins, and condiments still left on them. After I cleared us a table, I put my coat down so we didn't lose our seat. My wife and I finally managed to place our order and in between us ordering and me paying for our order, the lady who served us turned and walked away. I had to wait another 3 min just to be able to pay for my order, WTH?? So now I'm waiting with the 7 guys from Skip the Dishes who are waiting for their orders, the line is still filling up behind us, and I'm waiting another 5-10 min for my order, while my wife has already taken our drinks and sat down. Now my wife and I are trying to enjoy our dinner and some guy starts flipping out & complaining about the line up, how long everything is taking, and causing a major scene. He's loud enough that even without my hearing aid in and only having my cochlear implant on, I can hear him. This guy complains and causes a scene the entire time he's there, from being in line to even when he's sitting down. While sitting down he's now doing a video call to someone and complaining about the location & service, plus video taping the people there. One of the other patrons asked him to keep it down and let others enjoy their meal. Eventually the guy gets up and leaves, comes back and leaves again. I don't think he even finished his food, I think he tossed it. But before my wife and I leave, I clean on another 2 tables plus my own, so people coming in have a clean place to sit. I understand them being busy on a Friday night, even the drive through was backed up, but they need to plan for this stuff. Not only that, keep your dining room presentable. I should not have had to clean off not only my table for me to have my dinner, but cleaning off other tables so your patrons could have a clean place to sit. Like I said, one of the WORST...
Read moreThis is going to be a bit long. The evening I went there I saw a lady with gloves no big deal! right? So this woman appears to be in management maybe,...? she went to the back area grab a container that seemed to have a liquid maybe juice. She set up whatever it was. (Didn't change her gloves) now proceeds to the cash register taking orders...it was very busy so the wait to be expected a bit long. She then went to set up for a big order kids meals and regular size combos (doesn't change her gloves) now goes to the food area and prepared a meal sandwich and kids meal..then goes to the garbage can ...and goes back to the food station (doesn't change gloves) I said to a staff there Hi if the lady over there will be preparing my food she needs to change her gloves...he stutters a bit huh . What what huh I repeated myself he goes to the lady and tells her what I said no big deal. She IMMEDIATELY. raises her voice I DIDN'T TOUCH THE garbage or make food. I said I have been watching you from the moment you were taking orders She continued to tell me no I didn't touch the food or garbage. I said so I'm blind right? WOW very very RUDE. After raising her voice to me I said ok whatever please don't make my food. Then prepares the big order...lol But within 2-3 minutes takes the gloves off...loll Listen if you are going to wear gloves then stay in your designated area or change your gloves each time you do a task. common sense while preparing food wash your hands If you are in management you definitely will be all over the place so if your afraid of COVID wear the gloves ..change them each time OR wear the same pair but WASH YOUR...
