Went here for a quick bite with my mom and I was quite disturbed by the service and compliance with CoVid19 health regulations. They lost the 5th star because the music was absolutely blaring, loud enough that you have to yell at the staff and they have to yell back just so you can communicate. They lost the 4th star because the were NOT wearing face mask(s) or coverings of ANY kind. I have been to eat-in restaurants, Starbucks, Tim Hortons etc., and no matter where I go at least I have the ease of mind that they’re taking every precaution to protect not only themselves but their customers. They had 2 signs up with respect to the ‘company’ response, 1 bottle of hand sanitizer and some floor marking(s). They DID not have any table(s) closed off, people were not complying with rules set out and staff were not wearing face coverings. They lost the 3rd star because the restaurant was not clean and appeared to be dirty; the floors, the plastic shield by the cash register was full of hand prints and grease, there was garbage on the floors. They lost the 2nd star because their POS machine was NOT even working with TAP and there should be some sort of disclaimer letting people know that you will have to use contact. Also, the utensils that they provided were not covered in a plastic wrap and it had grease marks on it and crusty food. And if I could take away the last star I would because the food was not great and I could only eat a few bites because I was too panicked by how everything played out. The place was a dirty zoo. Really upset by this experience and I won’t be going back; because of this is how they operate during a pandemic then I don’t even want to know how they operate outside...
Read moreUPDATE: Tried to email the address listed below two times and both times the email bounced back undeliverable. After reaching out four times now I honestly don't see myself coming back. I worked in the food service industry for 15 years so I'm not speaking from a lack of experience. Mistakes happen but it's how they're dealt with. Certainly not left feeling confident that anything has improved here with Mucho. It's too bad but I guess I'll satiate my craving for Mucho when I head down to the coast. While I'm here I thought I'd add the photos I tried to email directly to the company. Both taken partway through eating the rice roll. Pretty brutal. I tried to give them an opportunity to address the feedback without making it public but they did not seem genuinely interested in remedying this.
After a recent visit to this location I'm quite disappointed with Mucho. I'm a longtime fan having lived in the lower mainland and also eating at the odd location in Alberta. The service and especially the food were not what I've become accustomed to with this company. Not impressed with Mucho Burrito at all today. I'm currently in the hospital and my husband said he would go pick up my favorite food as a treat. So, I ordered online for pick up at 11:15 am, today.
