This is the worst theater I've ever been to and I've been to some small theaters in some really small towns. The only thing this theater has going for it is the recliners, but even they aren't that nice because the staff doesn't clean them properly between movies. Last night I took my daughter to see the new Ninja Turtles movie. We got there a little late, but in time to miss only a few trailers. First of all they didn't tell us it was a 3D movie, there was no one to check our tickets and no one gave us glasses. I thought it was the animation style until about 15 minutes in when I saw something that obviously had to be 3D and I left to get us glasses. The seats had wrappers in the drink cup holders, which was icky. I know Covid isn't as much of a concern, but come on. They were also out of all fountain drinks other than regular coke, which I can't have because I'm diabetic, so I asked for a bottle of diet coke, thinking they would have that. The girl at the counter told me they only have bottled water or coke, due to a shortage, which is ridiculous. There's a grocery store within spitting distance of this theater, but no one thought of purchasing a flat of bottled pop for resale???? Who the heck is managing this place? There's also a Costco a few blocks away. The people who run this theater also don't believe in hot water. The bathroom sinks have faucets where you push a button and it stays on for a few seconds, but the water is icy cold. You can push the button repeatedly and never get warm water. The overall vibe of the place is pretty depressing with lackluster staff and sticky carpets. I let a manager know after the movie that we weren't told it was a 3D movie, so she'd know, and she told me they "would be totally on it next time". There will be no "next...
Read moreI’ve had multiple poor experiences at this theatre. One time they had only 1 person on concessions and no one admitting people to the theatres. On this occasion they had no staff cleaning the auditoriums between sessions.
The lines are incredibly slow and tills understaffed. Employees have no sense of urgency. They’re serving popcorn. It should be like 20-30 seconds per customer but with 8 people in front of me it took 10 minutes to get my popcorn.
And lastly I had a viewing of Knives Out on Saturday January 4th, 2020 that abruptly stopped displaying the visual element of the movie. Apparently this happened across all 5 screens. In everyone’s confusion we sought staff assistance. But with absolutely no one present for 20-30 minutes after the incident, people were frustrated. Their movies ruined. A night out wasted. Stacey, a manager whose number was posted on the wall and on duty that night, threatened customers attempts to reach her by calling the police and then opted to come into the lobby and yell at customers for their attempts to find a solution. She was impractical, rude and displayed ineptitude for what should have been a very simple incident to resolve. If she was prompt in her responses and offered the movie vouchers to the many disgruntled customers, the resolution would have been accepted by many people more gracefully. Instead our incomplete product was met with a phone call to the police and rudeness from the staff. This place is managed miserably and I’m highly discouraged from ever coming back. Free voucher or not. My movie tonight was a gift from my family and some much needed r&r after a terribly busy week. I’ve never in my 25 years however experienced such a poorly managed and poorly...
Read moreWent to an action movie and the car scenes were far too loud, I was yelling and couldn't be heard over it. I asked the staff if they could turn it down a bit and they asked the manager (an older man). When she asked him, in a reasonably loud voice, he misheard her thinking she wanted it turned up and she had to correct him. He goes into the theater to hear for him self, and by now it's people softly whispering to each other. He told me that the volumes is standardized, which I understand and would have been fine with but he decided to go check the volume anyway. I was standing outside the doors and while he was looking and I hear the volume go up even louder. He then goes back to wandering around and doesn't speak to me again. It's worth noting that we were two of the only six people in this theater. You would think that if two of the six people were that bothered by it there might actually be something wrong rather than just an unreasonable request to be swept aside. Had he just left the volume as it was before I would have been understanding. The fact that he deliberately turned it up then didn't make eye contact or speak with me again after "checking" the volume meant I wanted to share my experience with this manager here.
The rest of the staff were polite and courteous when i asked...
