First picture is my plate when I sat down, second is after I was done trying a few things… that should say it all. We’re on vacation and drove an hour to try this place, and honestly it was shocking. The chow mein tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for days. The pineapple pork was gamey, and the pineapple chunks were literally rotten. The shrimp still had the skin, tails, and veins—looked like zero effort went into prepping them. This was hands down the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Even my husband, who usually isn’t picky at all, couldn’t eat it. For $76, we both walked away wishing we’d just gone to A&W. To top it off, when I mentioned the food to the lady at the front, she was more focused on her phone than listening to me. She still made us pay full price after I told her how bad it was. Terrible food, terrible service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered takeout from here and was pleasantly surprised. Normally I stay away from buffets because the food sometimes isn't the freshest but Asian Pear Buffet really did a good job on my order. I ordered beansprout chowmein, a eggroll, and a springroll, all of which were tasteful and decently priced. The chowmein had great flavor and their sauce was on point. The springroll was what i would have expected as it had a light flavor of vegetables with a nice crunchy exterior. The eggroll was ok, it had good flavors but the thick coating held a bit to much greese for my liking. Overall the portion was nicely sized and the speed of meal preparation from me ordering to pickup was only 10 minutes. I would definitely return here for another takeout meal or even for the buffet when COVID-19 subsides.

The worst food health risk and customer service retention we have ever experienced..

As were sitting down eating our meal we heard someone sneeze. It was an employee behind the drink bar that sneezed 3 more times without covering her mouth and sneezing once more into the sleeve on her left arm. This took place over both sides of the bar sink, full of fresh ice used for table water to be given to each and every customer in the restaurant.

We had two glasses of table water delivered to our table with an ice tea before the employee had her sneezing attach.

However, to see what we saw turned us both completely off our meals.

Upon payment my wife asked for the managers name to be written on the back of the restaurants business card. When we got home, I was feeling angry with myself that I did not deal with our concerns before we left the restaurant. (as my wife wanted to)

The first thing I did when we got home was to call the restaurant and ask for Manda (the manager on duty) I was in the middle of expressing my concerns to Manda and she cut me off because the other phone line was ringing and literally hung up on me before I could finish expressing our negative dinner experience.

I decided to drive back to the restaurant to express my concerns to Manda in person. I asked the girl at the front desk if I could please speak with Manda. Manda was sitting at a very large table eating with other employees. After explaining our dining experience to Miranda, she showed a complete lack of empathy and flatly refused to compensate us for any portion of our meal.

A definition of "poor customer service" would indicate service that doesn't meet the customer's needs or wants. That's bad news for the company, because dealing with repeat customers is easier and more cost-effective than finding...

This USED to be my favorite buffet in Kelowna up until today. My husband and I went for lunch....late lunch mind you. The lady told us we had 30 mins before last call on the lunch....ok we said! The food was nearly inedible. Chicken and fish, where the meat was showing, looked plastic it was so dried out from sitting there for so long. All cooked veggies in ALL trays, were so soggy, old and again, overcooked YUCK! The only thing I felt looked ok to eat was the deep fried meats and salad bar...ok...well...I can only do so much of that...and that had been sitting out too long as well. I told the lady as we were paying that it was very bad quality today. She says, "oh, ya, sorry. It's inbetween time" I say, why am I paying full price for this lunch, when half the trays are empty and the rest have OLD food in them...so basically, I'm paying full price for old food so all the cooks can sit together and eat?.....how kind of me!....She just said "yes, sorry." She did not even look over to see the food...She did not offer ANY kind of remedy to this...SO. Here my hubbie and I sit....I now have to cook dinner anyway because we didn't trust continuing to eat their food..paid anyway...AND we are going to be wondering until tomorrow night weather or not we are going to get sick from their old food we did actually eat....$40 by the way....Just like I told her as I was leaving....you have just lost yourself a customer AND I will tell my friends! Sad really. They were very good for quite a while. I can't really see them lasting out the year if they are going to put out food like that AND have non existent customer service, while making the customer pay full price for food that is very obviously fit for the...

My family and I went out f nner on a Thursday, all was going well until my son needed to use the washroom. He went & while he was leaving the washroom another school aged child unfortunately puked all over my son. Naturally my son was very very upset, & crying. We tried to promptly remove shoes and some clothes, while also scrubbing puke off him just trying to relieve him from some trauma as we tried to track down a waiter to inform him of the situation. He then found the family and told us the family was informed & would they would speak to us. It was quite difficult to manage the situation While also trying to find napkins, or a wet cloth and since I was dealing with my son my spouse also found it difficult to help us as he couldn’t access the bathroom supplies since it was still covered in vomit and didn’t want to go into the women’s ! I’m not saying this situation was purposeful and I agree it could Not be avoided but it would have been great if any of the staff had offered any kind of assistance, as chunky puke is not easy to get off! At this point we did our best to clean him up and decided to just pay and leave - I’m not sure why, but as we did; the mom of that boy that puked was leaving too; she apologized stating her son had been in pull ups all day and wasn’t well and that’s why, and she’s sorry & left. Umm what!?... Still, no staff had checked in on us or even asked if we needed anything so we carried out sons puked on belongings & paid the $144 big bucks and did NOT even get to finish our dinner let along dessert!! I hope the staff reads this and can learn from our awful experience! We can only hope we don’t get the flu now! 🫠 cheers !...
