Subway — Restaurant in Kelowna

Food is okay. Staff are terrible human beings. Last time I was here the staff were too busy arguing and shouting each other to notice they had customers coming in the door. When one of them finally did take notice of the line slowly beginning to form two of them continued arguing VERY LOUDLY with each while one came out to serve. The argument was so loud that I could not hear the girl trying to take my order.

All that anger they put in the air spread as well, two people who had already been served and seated at a table began arguing angrily with each other, I ended up getting angry because I couldn't hear what the person taking my order was saying and she could barely hear me, the people who came in behind me started to get angry likely for the same reason. Just an all around miserable experience and it's not the first time at this location. If the people here want to have such bad attitudes toward each other they should probably be sent to the unemployment line. I know I wouldn't put up with staff who bicker and argue in front...

Worst subway location in Kelowna. I ordered a sandwich and asked for added steak on it. When I went to pay they had charged me for a completely different sandwich that cost over 20% more. I asked them why I wasn’t charged for the sandwich I ordered and extra for the steak and they told me that they don’t charge extra. They just put it under a different sandwich that cost more to cover the difference. I’ve order the same order from many other location and never had this happen. I called corporate to inquire if that was indeed their policy. I was told that it was the restaurants decision to charge me for a different sandwich and that’s not a corporate policy. They told me that the store owner would then contact me about my concerns. When I spoke with them they continued to lie to me telling me that it was out of there hands and that it was a corporate thing. I will never buy here again and I recommend no one does either. Out of the hundreds of times I have been to subway as well as working at one, I just had the worst service experience at this location. First of all the Filipino girl behind the counter spoke so quietly I couldn't understand if she was asking what kind of bread or if I wanted it toasted. Then of course when I said I wanted it toasted lightly it was clear at that point she could not understand english very well. She then proceeded to make my sandwich very poorly. They may be called artists but I would compare her skills to the artistic stylings of third grade finger painting. The most anoying part, which is probably the reason I'm so angry, is that this girl behind the counter kept talking to her Filipino friend in Filipino!!! And honestly there is no debating that when you're helping customers, that is completely rude and inexcusable. All in all, I personally would avoiding this location.
