Tasty Deli — Restaurant in Kitchener

Thank you Vadim and Tatyana, you really made our day with all the food you delivered today, really childhood memories came alive, love everything I bought, really wonderful delicious low salted fresh to taste herring, love the frozen black currants couldn't find them anywhere else, completely inexpensive, I cant remember when I ate black currants, probably in my youth back in Ukraine, and Baltic sprats we love them, also childhood favourite to make sandwiches with butter and kasha buckwheat also childhood favourite. I am very glad your website is all set now and I can order with home delivery, very reasonable fee as well. Appreciate you giving me a call and enquiring about product substitution and your flawless delivery and friendliness. I think all Eastern Europeans are lucky to have your store with all our favourites with such a great selection and great quality I can confirm that. Wishing you great success the same you had in Vancouver with your store there. Will be your regular customer from now on for myself and my family here since I am able to place my order online and get it delivered right to my home....

Its actually 1 star review, that spend in moderation 2 weeks and were no published. “I've almost bought loooooong time expired products in this store once again. This time Smoked Bolognia with expiration date Oct 22nd, 2022 and it was on the shelve 40 days past that day. Manufacturers expiration were carefully covered by store price tag. I'm glad that I checked expiration date right after I left the store and didn't wait to open the product like last time. I'm not going to mention that products available at the counter looks gross (picture attached). This is not the first time I see or buy not fresh product in this store. I would rather to drive to Toronto and spend more time and gas, but would get fresh produce without "surprises"...

I attended Tasty Deli recently for the first time. The shop is European clean and has all the smells one would expect in a delicatessen. The cold meats sliced for me were fairly priced, and the selection in the freezer is quite good.... with everything from seafood to pasta to snacks.

The lady behind the counter was certainly pleasant, however we had to use sign language as she spoke only a few words of English.

Retail is a difficult environment, and how she can manage the difficult moments that will arise with such a language barrier is beyond me. What if she had to call 911? What would she say?

I look forward to stopping in again, and I do recommend this shop also for its location along the LRT...
