Tonight our group of six had dinner at Romeo's. We all ordered different meals. I ordered the chicken souvlaki meal. My salad, which was ordered without onions came to me with onions, but after removing them the salad was very nice (I'm just not a fan of raw onions). As I worked my way to enjoy the chicken, pita, tzatziki, and potatoes the meal took a disappointing turn. The pita was so hard, dry and tasteless I did not eat more than one piece (I kept slathering it in tzatziki to soften it, and stuffed it with a piece of the chicken). Unfortunately I found that the chicken was also VERY dry, tasteless and hard. I ate a few pieces hoping it was just perhaps one piece was like this, but each piece was the same disappointing condition. I moved on to try the potatoes. They did not look very appetizing as they were discolored and seemed to be very wet and soggy. As I took a bite of the "best" looking one I realized they were very soggy and tasted slightly rancid (they were meant to be Greek roasted potatoes). It was a very, very horrible meal and I would not recommend ordering it. Two people in our party ordered pizzas and enjoyed them though. So today we learned that if going to Romeo's, probably stick to ordering the pizza. But I will likely just not visit a Romeo's again. There's better pizza, for better prices, at many other restaurants from which to choose. My boyfriend had a chicken burger and also found the chicken very tasteless and dry, difficult to stomach.

Ordered a 2 4 1, but they overcharged us, and the pizza was really poor quality. I suspect it's made from frozen or premade in some capacity, it has to be, it has that freezer-burned Delissio vibe. My neighbor recommended it but afterwards I came here and saw the poor reviews and realized I shouldn't have ordered from Romeos. The children wouldn't even finish it, that tells you something. The explanation for the overcharge wasn't even reasonable, the kid said something like the website was wrong, so everyone ordering through the website pays less and everyone who orders by phone pays $12 more..? Didn't make sense. I'm not sure how they're staying in business. Probably money laundering. Delivery guy was cool though. Never again.

Disappointing experience at the Langford location. They are falsely advertising their food, misleading customers. The Cajun chicken breast Caesar salad says on the menu that it comes with a chicken breast on top. The menu price is $20 plus tax. My wife ordered the small Caesar salad, which was only $7 plus tax. They portioned the chicken to 1/3 of a chicken breast. So essentially they’re charging customers $13 for 1/3 of a chicken breast or equal to $40 for a full chicken breast. Very misleading, you should either give customers what they’re paying for or change your menu. On top of that, both salads were soggy and saturated with sauce. Both of our pizzas were soggy on the bottom.

I don't mind Romeo's but the cooks are lacking a bit lately, when I order pizza for delivery it will come way faster than what they say on the phone but I think that is where the problems start they are making food to fast and not taking care of how they make the food. Tonight's order came to the door in 20 minutes and I am sorry but when you order one pizza regular crust and the second one thin crust the cooks need to understand that writing thin crust on the box DOESN'T MAKE IT A THIN CRUST PIZZA both are identical not even a whisper of thin crust, I hate crust, I want a pizza with the toppings right out to the edge and with crust that can not happen. Plus they needed to be cooked another few minutes because the middle of the dough was under done, soft and mushy and holding all the grease, I actually had to put it in my oven to finish the cooking process. I hope thermogenesis sees this review and has a word with whoever are my pizzas tonight because this is their second strike, one more and I will stop placing my orders there. Also what the hell is going on that they add a delivery tip onto the bill without telling the customers about it? once you have added a tip and you ask for the receipt that is when you find out that the tip is already added. Sorry but that just seems a little sleazy to do that, the first few times I did not ask for the receipt and because I did pizza delivery when I was young I knew how hard it was to count on tips so I now will tip 5 or 10 dollars and I did that until I saw the first receipt that I was given and looked at it and saw the tip added for me so that guy and a few others were getting a 10 to 15 dollar tip for driving 6 blocks, I can't hold them responsible it is the management that...

My husband and I ordered take out for the first time at this restaurant tonight and we were severely disappointed. As a starter, we ordered the meatballs. The meatballs were so overcooked, we couldn't even stick our fork in them. They were also very, very dense and crunchy. My husband ordered the veal parmigiana with fettuccine alfredo and not only was his pasta overcooked as if it had sat in pot water too long, it had barely any sauce on it. I tried a bite of his veal and instantly had to spit it out as it was one of the worst things I had tasted in my entire life. It tasted as if it was made from somebody's old shoe and I'm not even sure if it was real meat. I had the bowtie santorini and although it was..."decent" if you would even say that, it was supposed to come with lemon tarragon sauce and it was missing the lemon flavouring entirely. The garlic loaf that came with the order tasted like it was premade, cooked, and then left sitting in the fridge for weeks. The only thing worth eating, which we may even reconsider, was the breadsticks. As a Chef myself, I would be really embarrassed to serve this quality to my customers, let alone my worst enemy. I'm not sure if it was bad a night, but judging on the reviews, it sounds as if it is normal for your food to be premade, warmed up, and then served to customers. Even if it was made weeks ago. I'd really recommend for anyone thinking on eating here, to eat anywhere else in Victoria. This has been by far the worst food we've ever had in the city. I've never written a review like this before, but I needed to warn people before they end up with food poisoning, as I am sure we will have at some point...

DO NOT GO!! Wow what an evening. 7 of us out for dinner Saturday night around 7pm. Drinks ordered no complaint. Ordered food: 1x fish and chips (first piece delicious and second piece NOT COOKED!!) 1 x burger (two bites and realised it was off beef 😩) 1 x luau pizza extra sauce (very minimal sauce!) And then the dry ribs were okay and the BBQ bonzana was okay. Server took food back she was very apologetic we did ask to speak to the manager but she was "busy" We finished fast as we where all mad 😡 Because the server came Back to tell us that our food was cooked we where just complaining (the fish was pink though :/) and no manager came over. We where told to pay our bill and then speak to the manager as we walked out. To be honest tried to be nice about the situation but she said we where being rude to everyone yet we where very nice to our server as we knew it wasn't her fault. We asked why she didn't come over to see us and she got very defensive and blamed it on us. She wouldn't give us her name and rolled her eyes at us! I was gonsmacked at her behaviour! Eventually she said her name was Julie. This is disgusting how you can let someone run a business like this. We will make sure we will not return here and make sure that Langford knows this is a terrible restaurant and they make the customer feel like they are constantly in the wrong. We appreciate that you took the raw fish and the expired beef off our meal but in doing so made us feel horrible about sitting in the restaurant. Hmmm. Yeah to sum this place up just go somewhere...
