Aloha! This is one of my favourite places to get poke! Tastes just like it did when I was in Hawaii. Prices are cheaper than a lot of poke places I have tried and their menu is very easy to follow unlike some other poke spots. The place was clean, well kept, perfect balance of toppings. I find other poke places have too many options that can overpower the bowl instead of the poke being the star of the bowl, but this place does not disappoint with their options. So many poke flavours, options, and even gluten free and vegan options making it a great experience for everyone! I saw some recent negative reviews and was honestly surprised. My experience here has always been positive (I come here a ton and to many of the other Steve’s poke bar locations but this location is one of the best) the staff is warm, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is consistently great so for the people looking to try this place, I would not for a second listen to the negative reviews. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, which the last few times I have come in the blonde girl has helped me with my order (I believe her name is Myah from the other reviews I’ve seen) and has blown it out of the water! She’s patient, kind, knowledgable and very helpful. She knows her stuff! I highly recommend Steve’s poke bar to anyone looking for a...

As a vegetarian, I always order the No Swimmin’ poke bowl, and the first couple of times, it was great. But after that, ingredients became hit-or-miss—sometimes no ginger at all, sometimes barely any shoyu sauce.
I stopped ordering due to the inconsistency but decided to give them another chance after over 6 months. This time, my order arrived completely different. Poke bowls traditionally have cold toppings with a warm base like rice or quinoa, but this one was refrigerator cold, with quinoa instead of rice (this pre-made recipe always came with rice). It felt like it had been pre-made and stored in the fridge for hours.
All my orders are through Uber Eats, where there’s no option to choose between rice or quinoa. The store should call customers before automatically making changes to their order.
3 stars because the food has the potential to be good, but the inconsistency and lack of customer service—not communicating when ingredients are missing and making substitutions without notice—bring the...
Read moreHad a really disappointing experience with the app and customer service. I ordered takeout on the app. While I was ordering it said that my order failed and to try again, which I did. Upon taking my food, I saw that there were two bowls in the bag and subsequently checking my emails, it showed 2 separate orders. I’m guessing it said it failed when in reality it didn’t. I emailed customer service and they said their app didn’t glitch and I should have called the store before they made my food, as if I’m constantly monitoring my emails. I ordered through the app because I was having a busy day, that’s the whole point. I had requested that if they wouldn’t refund me, to just credit my app, which they refused. A frustrating experience to say the least and I’ll be taking my business to Poke Aye and Ono Poke...
