If you have not gone to this place then run to it. I stumbled upon this Boulangerie on Google maps and noticed it's literally 3 minutes away. The pics looked delicious and I've been craving kaak for quite some time.
This place did not disappoint. Real true Tripoli kaak . The taste just takes you back home. The ingredients used to put inside the kaak are super fresh and high quality. And the kaak is heated to PERFECTION! The owners are a true delight to talk to.
It was so good that the entire family only talked about the kaak and ended up picking supper there the next day ! This time we added a half cheese half zaatar mankoushi (no pics cause we couldn't wait to try it) to the order to give it a try. Simply wow. I'm super picky on the zaatar cause it can be very bitter. This however was just amazing and the perfect qty of oil and zaatar and cheese. And the dough, where to start. So soft and not too thick but not too thin so everything falls out. I've shared my finding to all my neighbors and friends. I'm so happy this Lebanese place opened up so near cause we were lacking it . Go try it you won't be...
Read moreA bit misleading — based on the online photos, we thought this was a sit-down restaurant. In reality, it’s a small shop operating out of a couple’s home, with no seating area, despite what some pictures suggested.
When I asked if there was a bathroom (my 2-year-old daughter needed to go), we were told—rather curtly—to head to the nearest Tim Hortons.
We waited 45 minutes for our order, even though there were only three customers there, including us. When I went inside to check on the order, I was once again met with attitude and told to close the door because flies were getting in. Ironically, the back door was wide open—apparently only the front lets flies in.
The food itself was good, but definitely not worth the long wait or the unpleasant attitude—especially since there wasn’t even a single bench to sit on and enjoy it warm. By the time we got home, the cheese had cooled and didn’t melt the way it looked in...

After waiting over 30 minutes for just two cheese kaakes, the experience was disappointing. The cheese didn’t melt as it should have, and the taste was quite average. I expected better, especially given the wait and the price (20$ for 2 kaakes)
Although it’s a home-based family operation (husband and wife), there’s a real need for better organization — especially on weekends.
Sir, you need to be more efficient when helping your wife. I strongly suggest bringing in a third person: one to greet customers and take orders, while both of you focus on preparing them.
Also, a small bench or seating area outside would make the long wait more comfortable, as the current waiting space is...
