Rock’N Deli CF Carrefour Laval — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Rock and Deli was definitely a great choice for hosting the Super Bowl game with friends. The food was delicious, and it made for a great game-day experience. The poutine was one of the highlights—the fries had the perfect crispness, and the combination of cheese and gravy was spot-on. Their gravy had a great depth of flavor, balancing well with the fries without being too salty or overpowering. It was definitely one of the better poutines I’ve had in a while.

The Philly steak sub was also enjoyable, though it didn’t stand out as anything special. The flavors were good, but I think toasting the bread would enhance the texture and make it more enjoyable. A better ratio of meat to veggies would also improve the balance, as some bites felt a little off. The pickle was a nice touch—fresh, crunchy, and added a bit of tang to the meal, which complemented the heavier flavors well.

For dessert, the mini churros were an absolute winner. They came out fresh, hot, and perfectly fluffy on the inside while having a nice crisp on the outside. The taste was just right—not too sweet but still satisfying, making them the perfect way to end the meal. I’d definitely reorder them without hesitation.

Overall, Rock and Deli provided a solid game-day feast with great portions and flavors. The poutine and churros were definite standouts, and while the Philly steak sub could use a slight improvement, it was still a good option. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying, casual meal, especially when hosting friends...

I took the smoked meat poutine medium size. They supposed to cut the smoked meat fresh, but suprise suprise they took a piece of meat from behind, full of only disgusting white fat and cut it into pieces then he threw it on my poutine( instead of the freshly cut smoked meat)

And one more thing the poutine smoked meat was on special ;)

1. you didn't show anything before, I just noticed the unethical behavior and pointed out to it. So again you didn't show anything before, you just tried your luck and maybe i won't say anything...

I don’t understand why this restaurant make the food so good that I have to order 2 submarine to make sure I taste everything. Like seriously now I feel bad how I cheated on my diete. Being in the restaurant business more then 16 years now and I can say this restaurant is doing a great job, portions are big, taste is fabulous and I didn’t have time to dine in but if the take outs are so good there is no doubt the dine in is amazing. Share that to your team to make them know, it’s so hard to find staff and price are sky rocketing, staying alive means you have people who supports and help in every aspect of the restaurant.
