Poulet Rouge — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I’ve been a loyal client of Poulet Rouge for years their food and service are usually excellent, and I often recommend them. However, my experience at the Carrefour Laval location has consistently been disappointing.

This specific location is extremely stingy with their portions, especially with the vegetables which are among the cheapest ingredients. I’ve been to many other Poulet Rouge branches, and when the chicken piece is small, they’ll often add an extra to make up for it. That’s fair and expected. But here, they always serve noticeably smaller portions, and you walk away feeling shortchanged.

I checked the reviews for this location, and I see I’m not the only one who’s noticed this. It’s unfortunate because the brand itself is great, but this branch does not reflect the usual Poulet Rouge quality or value. I wouldn’t recommend...

Usually I like to provide a more detailed review but this time I dont have much to say. The chicken was industrial, re-heated. Salad was very standard and nothing extraordinary and price was very high. I definitely do not recommend at all!!! If you don't believe me, feel free to order and you will see that buying a salad from Costco would be even better!!! Great food but when it comes to getting the food from ordering online, it can be a hassle. This might have been an issue with too many customers there at that time but there should be an online order cut off section there and someone there that actually pays attention to customers who order online and prefer to pick up their food. I had to get someone's attention manually that time and he just ignored me until I got another employee's attention to just take down my food from their shelf five minutes later (so embarrassing). The service could definitely use work! I get it, it's busy but still please don't leave customers...
