Andiamo's Pizza and Pasta — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

Before ordering from Andiamo's, I remember saying to my wife that 'any place that offers two for one pastas probably isn't any good'. Oh how I wish I went with my gut instinct and never ordered from them.

We ordered two baked raviolis (one with meat sauce and one with pesto sauce) and a medium 'Meat So Good' pizza from DoorDash. Both raviolis arrived with meat sauce and no pesto. Strike one. Not a huge deal really. A simple mistake that I was willing to look past but then we tasted the food.

My wife ate the ravioli and I had the pizza. The ravioli was so slimy, it was like it came from a can. In fact, my wife said it tasted exactly like Chef Boyardee, as I read in another review (which I read AFTER we ate our food). Plus the sauce had so much cinnamon and sugar in it, it was impossible to taste anything else!

The pizza also had the same sugary, cinnamon-laden sauce as the ravioli. The meat tasted like it came from a package at the local 7-Eleven. The cheese was like a sheet of plastic on top. I'm usually very forgiving when it comes to pizza but this was the worst I'd had in a long time.

The amount of food you get would have been great if it had been in any way edible. What wound up happening is it found its way into the garbage and we had dessert from another restaurant instead.

Waste of money and food. Will never...

After being regular customers for years, we will no longer be spending our money on takeaway from Andiamo's. The newest owners definitely care more about costs/profits as prices have gone up, and food quality has gone down. No longer offering 2 for 1 pizzas and they have clearly cut back on toppings from what the last owners and the original owners used to serve. Turning in to a cheap and fast pizza joint and we truly miss the old Andiamo's quality. Everything was passed on from the original owner to the last owners and now these newest owners have changed so much it's not worth the money, so I highly recommend they go back to the original ways and do slight price increases on some things to keep the loyal customer base they...
