Burger King — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

0 stars if I could. Came here for a late night trip with the boys because not much else was open. Called ahead to make sure the hours listed were accurate and they said yes. We arrived and we saw people working at the counter. Tried to come into the lobby but it was closed. We tried the drive through in which we sat there speaking and trying to get someone’s attention for over 10 minutes considering we just saw someone inside. We pulled up to the window and everyone was in the back. I called them and said we’ve been waiting around for over 10 minutes in the drive thru and they claim they didn’t see us, they told us to pull up to the talk box again. We did and once again, silence. We pulled forward to the window, in attendance now, we explain we just tried ordering again with no one response. They tell me that their head sets haven’t worked all week. I’m puzzled. I asked why they wouldn’t have just told me that when I called moments ago, or perhaps maybe put up a sign in the drive thru to inform customers of that, or one that suggests they call or head to the window. They were frustrated by my suggestion and said it wouldn’t work. My friend started telling them his order, after that they told us it’d be over $40 for two combos. All of us being shocked, we said after the poor service it’d be kinda ridiculous to pay that much for fast food when we can just drive a bit further and get that much food for a fraction of the price. The employee was outraged, and demanded that we paid the money. Yeah, right, LOL. We drove off. It perplexes me how this location...

Absolutely love this location! I am not a fast food person generally, usually because of quality and cleanliness of the locations. This store is the cleanest fast food establishment I think have ever been in. We went there one day for food and we were so impressed with how clean the seating area was, we talked about it through most of the meal. Thinking it was just a one off, we went back again and had the same great experience. We watched while staff cleaned tables immediately when customers left which was really great to see. The food was cooked fresh and surprisingly, the burgers were put together nice and neat (not thrown together like we have seen from other places). The employees all seem to be friendly even the person tasked with cleaning the tables seemed to be happy to be there. We have gone back multiple times since and every time the seating area is clean, and the food is fresh. Location is convenient and there is a ton of parking available. This is now our go to place in Pitt Meadows or Maple Ridge area if we are looking for a quick meal we know we can eat at a clean table. Highly recommend this...

Outstanding professionalism at this location. So you see, I am a definite nightowl. Your sleep schedule? Mine is probably the reverse of that. This particular night, I hadn't eaten since I woke up. Usually not the case for me, but I figured I would check around what opens the soonest. I think of Burger King. So it's 4am, aware that the inside dining and by-foot ordering was closed, I call in to ask when the indoor section would be open. The lady says 7am. Great, perfect. The time comes and I have ventured out there, at the front entrance, at 7am. The door is locked. Turns out 6/7 days, it does open at 7am. But this one day, it's apparently 8am. Now I realize the lady on the phone must have made an honest mistake, but I wasn't excited that I was probably going to have to kill an hour of my precious time on earth, so I phoned in again right there, outside of the location. Basically and unexpectedly, she told me I could order standing at the drive thru window! I was stunned. Needless to say, I got my food, and I am a happy customer.

EDIT: She even remembered the marinara for my mozza sticks! Now...
