Starbucks — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

I always enjoy Starbucks, but the very best store in Maple RIdge, consistently for more than 15 years, is in the strip mall at 207th & Lougheed Hwy. I give this store a strong ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The next 2 best stores are also in strip malls. One at Harris Rd. & Lougheed Hwy. and the other at 240th & Dewdney. Both stores also rate ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Unfortunately the remaining 2 are the reason for the lower overall rating: 227th & Dewdney (with the drive-thru) since day one this store has had difficulty preparing any custom beverages (and I don't consider decaf or skim milk to be 'custom') If ordering anything other than basic menu items I strongly suggest you check your drink before leaving as there is a good chance a remake will be necessary. I have actually stopped ordering my custom drink here because it is always a problem. This store rates ⭐⭐⭐, Valleyfair Mall store has always had a problem hiring & retaining quality staff with the personal skills necessary to function in the sometimes stressful and hectic Starbucks work environment. Consistently Great Coffee, Cozy Atmosphere

Starbucks is always a reliable choice, and this location delivers on most fronts. The coffee is consistently great, with my personal favorite being the caramel macchiato—rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I’ve also enjoyed their seasonal drinks, which always add a bit of excitement to my coffee routine.

The atmosphere here is cozy and inviting, with a mix of comfortable seating for both solo work and group chats. Whether you’re catching up on emails or relaxing with a book, it’s a great spot to spend some time. The free Wi-Fi and the subtle background music are a nice touch, creating a calm environment even when the place gets busy.

The staff are friendly and handle the morning rush with efficiency and a smile. They’re also great at accommodating special requests for drinks. However, the wait time during peak hours can be a bit longer than expected, and finding a seat isn’t always easy—especially when it’s packed.

I go to this location quite frequently because the staff are always amazing, and my orders are typically consistent. Today I went there and picked up my order through the drive thru, didn’t check my food item before leaving and headed back home. When I went to eat my everything crossaint, I found a plain everything bagel instead, which accidents happen and I understand, I also don’t live that far so I just drove back and explained what happened and they immediately corrected the error and also handed me a gift card with my sandwich. Honestly so kind of them and totally not something they had to do or I expected, and I have noticed new faces so I know people are probably training, I just want to give kudos to the kindness and generosity at this specific location.
