Thursday Jan 5, 2023 at 10:30am, I visited the washroom at this Mcdonalds and while in the stall I realized there was absolutely no toilet paper anywhere. I called my wife outside with my phone to inform the staff that I was trapped inside and needed assistance.
She passed that information onto the nearest female staff and in turn she found a male staff to enter the men's room. 5 mins later my wife called to see if the issue has been resolved and I said no, no one came in or even popped in to ask to see if anyone needed help.
My wife then told the same female staff that the situation hasn't been resolved thinking she hadn't passed that information along to a male staff. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a male staff member holding toilet paper walking in and out of the washroom. Seemingly looking clueless as he couldn't "refill" the stall since it was occupied.
My wife then had to take it upon herself to grab the toilet paper from the male staff to go in the men's room personally to pass it to me.
I've since called the store multiple times to let the manager know and have left 2 voicemails but haven't received a response in 3 days.
This is unacceptable Mcdonalds. If I didn't have someone with me that day, would I have been stuck in the washroom all day? How is it that staff is not trained on toilet emergencies; to call out to see if the person in the stall needed paper? There was only ONE stall in the men's room. You were informed it needed a paper refill, but it never occurred to the staff that the person IN the stall needed the paper? I understand working the bare minimum for minimum wage (we all aren't paid enough), but this was a life and death situation that I'm sure everyone does NOT want...
Read moreWent to the drive thru today with some friends in another car and was notified that they will only be accepting cash at this moment. I didn't mind it and ordered my food. As I pulled up to the window to pay, I asked if I could pay for my friends behind me and the server said yes. After paying for myself and my friends, I drove to the parking lot to wait for them.
To my surprise, they ended up paying for their own meal even though I have already paid. We both checked our bags to see if we got our receipts but there were none.
As I pulled up to the window and asked why she charged my friends even though I've already paid, she explained that it was a mistake. As she asked me what order I got, I noticed the large fries I ordered came as a regular. She asked that I pull up to the yellow line as there was a car behind me waiting. She came out and told me she will explain it to her manager and asked me to come back tomorrow to get my money back.
I told her that I wanted the money back now and I would also like my receipt as well. She began to become a bit flustered explaining that I will be receiving my cash and receipt in a moment.
In the end I did receive my cash back but I never got my receipt.
I have been coming to this McDonalds for almost 15 years and I have to say this was probably the most disappointed I have ever been.
Generally the staff are pretty friendly and the food is fresh but my experience today made me rethink whether I should drive to another mcdonalds instead...
Read moreJust ordered 2 big breakfasts but with no meat. All other experiences at other locations, as a courtesy, the employee after seeking manager's approval (which has not been denied) would substitute a hash brown for the no meat option. Well the manager Gajani would not have that today. Citing that they do not do that and the other manager on the floor also would not allow that. So lesson number one Gajani - You are a manager and as such should have discretionary decision making abilities. You went out of your way to tell me that you sought the other manager's opinion and that you yourself are a vegetarian so I was very surprised that you did not act in a managerial capacity at all. Why be a manager if you can not make decisions. Also you persistently sought to get an "okay" from me at which I responded repeatedly that "well, I am just letting you know that all other locations including that location has made this decision on previous occasions." So very disappointed at the lack of management's ability to make a decision and the lack of uniformity in MacDonald's protocols. Either you should have substituted or lower the price. In effect MacDonald just made some extra cash by not providing the product. There is something wrong with that picture, don't you think?
Update: Jan 25 2020: manager incredibly inept. No judgement, might as well have a robot. Service by others...deplorable. No MEAT means No meat. What part do you...
