I wouldn't post a bad review without giving a chance to the franchise owners. But I guess this is the only means left after a disappointing experience on July 7. Grease trap is supposed to be cleaned up before and after the place is closed not in the middle of the day when you are serving raw meat and ready to eat food. This grease trap when opened stinks exactly like a sewer. Acknowledging the issue by the employee is not enough. Then on top of that they served vegetable Samosas that were gone bad. The potatoes inside were sticky and smell was horrible. I simply asked the employee once I was given the samosas, "just smell and tell me if this is good or bad" he refunded the samosa money. No complaints about the other fresh food that I picked up - paneer Tikka and fish Tikka. But I was definitely worried while eating and after eating. But not coming to this place ever again. This is not the first time. Close to the closing hours (when the place is still open) they are rushing to clean and the bleach they use (which I don't know) if it's safe to use that much and that concentrated that it can irritate not just the customers eyes but also the employees working there. Maybe it's required to keep it clean, but should be retro inspected if it's really needed because I am not buying raw meat or any food exposed to...
Read moreNot as good as it used to be. This was our go-to place if we needed a quick fix for some butter chicken, briyani, saag, and naan. It's fairly pricey for the portion size you get but we were happy with the quality up until the past few months where things have gotten worse since their renovation. The butter chicken is still fine but the serving is more gravy than meat so it's definitely not worth the price. The briyani and saag paneer have drastically changed with an unfortunate bland flavour. The naan is definitely smaller than before as well so not worth the price. Hopefully this is just a temporary setback and things improve (or at least return to normal) because I really enjoyed the food at this location.
Update - December 2021 * Huge improvement over the past year. Both quantity and flavours are back to normal. They have great deals on fish so get there early because they always sell out. You'll be glad you did. Updating from...
Read moreHave been here several times and am in recent years constantly disappointed, this place used to have some of the best food at good prices.
I think there was a change of ownership or something as the quality of this place is significantly worse.
I went back today to find the prices here are astronomical, Samosa $5 for 3.. Kebab wraps starting at $10 which are filled with mostly Salad.. 10/lb for wings that aren't cleaned or cut and include the wing tip which has no meat on!
The marinade tasted like tandoori mixed with Indian lime pickle. The lemon chicken is more heat than anything else and doesn't really have much lemon flavor.
The goat curry has more fatty and bone than meat.
Will never be going back, you are better off getting masala from a jar and fresh chicken and marinating the meat yourself, you will get a more authentic flavor.
The staff are quite pleasant but does not change the quality and taste has significantly...
