Pizzaville — Restaurant in Markham

We've been coming to this pizzaville since it first opened. They used to be phenomenal and truly an incredibly pizza place. I'm mad tonight because I ordered on the phone, and asked for a sopressata gormet pizza but no meat on half and kalamata Olives to replace the meat. The guy made a big deal on the phone and said I could have green or black. I told them to forget the olives then, just give me the regular toppings for the sopressata pizza minus meat on half. I very clearly told him I want kalamata or no olives and we get our pizza black olives on it. This is the 2nd time they've made a big deal about the kalamata olives. The first time we ordered panzerottis, I wanted kalamata olives and they never said that was unmanageable, yet I cut open the pazeroti to find black olives not kalamata. If it's that big of a deal to have that as a topping, take them off the menu. Not only that, the wait times are always terrible. Hire more staff if you're busy, it's not a hard concept. I'm giving them 2 stars as when they actually get the toppings right, the food is great. Really contemplating switching where we get our pizzas now. I figured I'd support the Raptors because JV was promoting Pizzaville, and since it was the playoffs, I decided to contribute, woah was I ever wrong; so I placed a mobile order of 2 Panzo's and added 8 wings for $5 - Came out to about $20.  I was on my way home so I figured I could place an order quickly using their mobile app, get home in time to just start quarter 1 of Game 4.  So I get there approx. 18 mins after I ordered, (they say should be ready within approx. 20mins).  I walk in and tell them my name; they check and said oh, 8-10 mins, So I just dealt with the wait, but after 10 mins, It still wasn't ready. Eventually it took 40 mins from the time I placed my order til I got my food for pickup.  After being disappointed with the wait time, I just went home - however, after getting home and opening my food, I get more disappointment; I look and found out that 1 of the panzos was burnt and trying to eat the panzo, I could just taste burnt dough with every bite, and the wings I ordered were supposed to be crispy, but they turned out to be soggy and undercooked.  NEVER going to this establishment ever again,...

Update (9/5/21): There has been a vast improvement at this location over the last few times I've been here. My entire family, especially the kids, agree. Looks like there are new bakers who know how to make a pizza. The pie dough is perfectly baked and the cheese/toppings well distributed and not sparse. The sauce is evenly spread, not too much or too little. The crust is crispy but light, and even has the some cheese sprinkled on the ends to make it slightly cheesy. Great job to the new staff.

Old post (11/1/20): Normally this location does an amazing job, and this is my go to for my pizza, but the last time I was there (yesterday), I was extremely disappointed - one of the worst pizzas. The sauce was so thick it was bunched up in sections with no cheese or toppings, while other areas was all cheese, and the toppings were not evenly distributed.
