A&W Canada — Restaurant in Mississauga

I tried their burger three times in a row, hoping it would be better each time, but it's the worst I've ever had. I eat at other locations all the time, but this one is terrible. To begin with at drive through mentioned "extra mayonnaise" it too dry everytime.. when reached at window grabbing drinks , told again please make sure it have extra mayonise . Repeated twice please ..considering last incidents. I'm going to post my transaction because the employee claimed,"This is how the burger is supposed to be." Girl not sure when you started here but i ate this burger since 2017 pretty much all nearby cities (beyond meat) I ordered two combos and one burger—all of it was garbage. I spent 40 bucks on garbage and talk to stupid employee, and returned the burger as the employee said I could get a refund if I brought it back. Too bad i did not take photos. However, when I returned with the remaining food, they refused to refund it, saying it was half-eaten. How else am I supposed to taste the patty inside when it's mostly bun? I gave it all back them so they all can party at back and you can check the camera at 12:17 AM on August 13.

It's well known that Tim's has gone downhill, and now A&W is following because of employees like this. Excuse my language, but this location is awful. I should have gone somewhere else, especially considering past incidents. I'd like to report this to higher management, but I’m pretty sure they're all the same. Here's an idea: visit another location (not yours) and try your own burger—then you'll see...

Need food on the run? Then come support your local Canadian owners abc operated business ( separate from the US counterpart) cause I’m all about keeping our money here. I digress. Come to this spot and get some good and well prepared fast food. I like the food, friendly and fast service. I didn’t have to wait too long to get my order. Cause they had enough staff working to fill orders as they come in. Thanks to management. While I waited for my order, I went to the wash station. ( Yes, they’re definitely into cleanliness cause the wash station wasn’t tucked away in the washroom, though it was in the back. Big reminder to wash your hands folks, especially those people who tend to forget!). Other restaurants can learn from this approach to cleanliness. I can never come by without getting their delicious sweet potato fries ( with big size chipotle mayo on side).I do love that they have a few options of veggie burgers. No other fast food is giving me three options right now. So kudos to A&W. that veggie burger woke up my taste buds too. I find the veggie masala burger doesn’t taste the same at all stores. Some are more spicy than others. The little fish snack sandwich was just enough to whet my appetite. If you need a proper fill, order a couple or get the regular fish sandwich. Don’t forget to get your root beer, cause what’s the point of coming here if not to get their famous root beer too! I am a very regular customer of A&Ws. First time experience of getting treated very badly. June 6,2025 at 8:44 pm, order number 35789.Drive thru and front was very quiet, I was the only customer on the drive thru. I ordered on drive thru, a Masala burger combo with sweet potato fries and a mango pineapple Icer and a sandwich on the side. The drive thru person asked me to wait in the parking lot. I waited. The drive thru person came to hand over my order with no drink. I asked about the drink and she said what drink you want. I showed my receipt and then she went back and got me the drink which she left at the front counter. I opened the bag and got very stale reheated dark brown coloured sweet potato fries. I went inside, spoke with another lady (I suppose manager) with no name tag, I started the conversation in a civilized manner, that these fries are cold and not fresh. She said no these are hot, to which I responded, these are re-heated, can you please give me fresh fries and I was handing her over the bag. In return she pushed the bag backwards to me and kept saying no these are hot with very bad attitude. I asked her my money back than to which she went back and push the money towards me. I didn’t knew this is how she is going to treat me, otherwise I would have clicked the picture of fries.
