BOB&AMIGOZ — Restaurant in Mississauga

The food and the prices were good! But that's all the good I have to say about this place.. This was our first time here and we mentioned that when we first walked in.

To start, the menu is very hard to read and understand. Which makes you have to ask questions about what you're getting.

Asking questions normally wouldn't be an issue, but when I asked how big something was or clarification on what something was, the employees gave me a vague answer and seemed like they just wanted to brush off my question. The feeling I got from them was: "just hurry up and order so I can go back to talking to my friend". When we ordered, we asked what the drinks on display were. The employee was giving us her answer but paused in the middle of it to talk to a coworker who was leaving. It wasn't just a passing "have a good night" it was longer than that. After we got our food (my fiancee got a burrito bowl and I got a quesadilla) I noticed there wasn't sour cream. I would think that normally when you get a quesadilla, you get sour cream and salsa. I went up and asked the two employees who were talking to each other if I could get some sour cream, and they gave me a look like "is this guy stupid? Why would you have sour cream with a quesadilla?"

There was also an instance when an employee or manager came in, made a coffee and then left. This felt very unprofessional.

All in all, the food was good, but the service was AWFUL!! Don't eat in here, just...

📝 🚗 Bunch of free parking spots within the parking lot if you go there during the day. During the evenings and nights, it gets pretty busy.

🥘☕️ This place specializes in Mexican-Italian fusion cuisine. We ordered the (1) soft shell beef birria tacos, (2) steak quesadilla, and (3) 3 hard shell tacos (crispy chicken, chicken fajita, spicy beef).

In general, tacos are pretty small so order more if you want a more filling meal. The quesadilla tasted good, but it was also a small portion compared to other places we've been to. The hard shell tacos & soft shell beef birria tacos were the best thing we ate from there. Would recommend everyone to try the beef birria and chicken fajita tacos!

🕑 The hours are 12 pm - 12 am which is pretty cool if you're coming out here for the nightlife or have a late-night craving.

🌿✨️ There are seatings for this place, and their menu is confusing as they serve a lot of Indian-inspired dishes too (not a bad thing though, ex: falooda, chicken tikka, etc.). I guess it should Mexican Italian Indian fusion.

🤍 Customer service is okay. We dined in (which they knew about), and we got our orders at different timings, so halfway through eating we had to get up and grab our food, at one point we both had food in our mouths but the server waited for us to grab the food so we...

What an absolutely fantastic experience. I had just happened to learn about this place from a random Instagram video earlier in the day and it sure as hell didn’t disappoint.

We ordered 6 tacos (an assortment of fish, crispy chicken & birria) and a half Fajita/half Seekh Kabab pizza. After a short wait of 10-12 minutes, we were treated to a masterfully curated explosion of flavours.

I’d rate the tacos as high as 9.6/10, they were truly phenomenal, especially the birria & the fish taco, the crispy chicken was decent but lacked the same kind of punch. The pizza was also pretty decent, id rate it at a 7.5/10 but it wasn’t the type to knock your socks off..the tacos however, surely were.

Their pricing is also fairly competitive and they let you mix and match pretty much anything on the menu. They currently have 3 tacos priced at $11.99, i would recommend they should also consider a 5 taco serving at $18.99 (if it make sense in their business model)

Both the girls in the front were cheerful and provided exceptional service. The owner was very kind and open to feedback, we wish them all the success and will surely be back to indulge in their tacos again & again inshaAllah. In due time, I hope they create some kind of a loyalty/reward program to incentivise frequent customers.
