We just celebrated our son’s 1st birthday party at Karahi Boys (Platinum Drive location), and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! We had a big group of about 20 guests dining in, and everything from the food to the staff to the atmosphere made it a day to remember.
First, the food was simply outstanding. The karahi was mouth-watering — rich, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and served hot. You could really taste the care and quality in every bite. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and many even asked for the name of the restaurant so they could come back on their own.
What really made the experience special, though, was the incredible staff and manager. They were all so professional, kind, and patient throughout our whole visit. They warmly welcomed us and made sure our large group was comfortably seated. They didn’t just serve us — they made us feel taken care of. Plates were cleared quickly, fresh naan and sides kept coming, and the manager checked in often to make sure everyone was happy and had what they needed.
We were also so grateful for how accommodating they were. They allowed us to decorate the space with birthday decorations, which really made the celebration feel personal and festive. We had brought a birthday cake from outside, and they happily provided extra plates and serving utensils for it — no fuss at all. Even when our big group accidentally overcrowded the entrance for a while (sorry about that 😊), they didn’t get upset at all — instead, they handled it with patience and a smile.
The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly, which made our son’s milestone birthday even more special. Thanks to Karahi Boys, we were able to relax, enjoy amazing food, and celebrate surrounded by family and friends without any stress.
We truly appreciate the hospitality, delicious food, and wonderful service. Our guests are still talking about it, and we’ll definitely be back soon. If you’re looking for authentic food, warm service, and a place that genuinely cares about its guests, Karahi Boys at Platinum Drive is the perfect choice. Highly recommended for any special occasion or even just a good meal...
Read moreHorrible experience! If you're looking for authentic Karahi, skip this place. Idk if other Karahi boys locations are like this, but this one is disappointing for sure. Now I read other reviews and it makes sense that others also experienced the same. Portion sizes are small, poor service. The waitresses were stuck behind a counter giving everyone a cold look. When asked for something, they didn't move an inch and expect you to yell across the hall what you need. I found a hair in my drink, but the biggest disaster was the karahi. The chef forgot to put salt in it. I told the waitress and she gave us a salt shaker. I mean how to fix the whole karahi with a shaker? Then my sister asked them to fix the karahi in the kitchen and she took it away. Then another guy came back with the fixed karahi and put the hot karahi on my phone, when there was loads of space on the table. He just dropped it and left. Anyways, the karahi was still horrible. Its kinda looks like karahi but is not even close. Its boiled chicken added to a thick curry sauce. No flavour, no kick, no green chillis or garam masala. We asked if the chef was Pakistani as its kinda hard to make a karahi this bad, but the manager told us that the chef was not pakistani with a smile. This explained the poor taste. He took 50% off the karahi at the end which we didn't eat. But with the wasted time and poor experience, it was not worth it. The chae was nice, so recommend changing the restaurant name to Chae Boys to avoid further disgrace...
Read moreI’m writing to share feedback regarding a disappointing experience at your Ridgeway Location on Saturday, July 5th at approximately 6:45 PM. Unlike the wonderful service we’ve consistently received at other Karahi Boys locations—particularly the Brampton branch—this visit was extremely underwhelming due to the poor service provided by the front-of-house staff. Throughout our entire meal, the three waitresses remained behind the counter, disengaged and visibly disinterested. There was no effort made to check in on tables, refill water, or even offer a simple smile. Their attitude came across as completely unwelcoming, which significantly impacted our dining experience. To make matters worse, an 18% gratuity was added to the bill, charged to my father (a senior), despite receiving what we consider the worst service we’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. We truly believe that great service is essential to the overall customer experience, and it’s unfortunate that this team missed the mark. There are many individuals out there who would bring energy, care, and professionalism to the role—qualities that would genuinely help grow your business. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issue with the staff on duty that evening. We'd love to see this location meet the high standard we've come to associate with the Karahi Boys name. For those reading this review - visit another location - the food is only as good as the...
