Firstly I am South Indian and this place is just plain sad.. read the full review and look at the pictures for proof. If anyone thinks this is authentic South-Indian food, you are sadly mistaken. I ordered Dosa and got soggy half-cooked dough with cold potato masala --Sad. We also ordered paratha which is supposed to be flaky, smooth and delicious of course and I got frozen roti instead-- disgusting! I never leave restaurant reviews even if the food is bad because it is not worth my time, but this time... its different. I can live with some of the food being blah but when a place serves frozen food that you can get at your local Walmart!! WOW. I had to give this place a star to write this review but its more just to make people aware that they are serving frozen cheap...

Poor value. For the same price you can eat at a proper sit down South Indian restaurant instead of this dingy food court. The couple was nice but disorganized. It took about 20min to get the first of our 4 dosas. Then about 5min wait between each of the next ones. We had to ask for the sambar and chutney and had to wait for those too! The dosa was part of a combo but they didn't tell us that when we ordered. I noticed later and again had to ask for our drinks. We requested some water and the guy suggested we grab some disposable cups from the store next door because they weren't there! He finally gave us 3 cups and a jug. The jug had a cockroach on the handle! We will never eat here again and highly recommend you...

The lady who works there is very friendly and helpful; she mentioned coming originally from Mumbai and brought the recipes here. This might be as close as one can get to authentic Indian street food. The location is in a dodgy underground food court where most of the patrons seem like newly arrived immigrants, which makes this place all the more intriguing. You would not expect to find such fine food based on the appearance of the location, but the food will instruct the customer to never judge a book by its cover. Their Mysore masala dosa was superb, better than the fine restaurants. TRY...

The food is Okay. We ordered the Vegetarian samosa, Mirchi Bhaji and a Mango Lassi. The order was given at the counter and the service was good. The mirchi bhaji was hot and spicy. Just like we wanted. However the vegetable samosa were old and were just warmed up. Unfortunately, they didn't taste good at all. I should have checked with the server about the freshness. The Mango lassi was good but on a thinner side, not like the ones you expect in lassi. However the price is very cheap and Lassi was 4 bucks only.

This place serves Bombay style street food. Ordered chaat paapri for takeout. There was no one else present except for one girl ahead of me who had already placed the order for a chai. Still it took them 25 minutes after placing our order, to bring our chaat. The store is very unkempt. Chaat tasted good but had an abundance of kaala namak, and since we ordered spicy, it had red chilli powder sprinkled on top. One plate cost us $10. I mean for this price, one can get many better options in Mississauga
