Extremely Disappointed – A Shocking Experience
I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, but I was utterly shocked and disappointed by what I encountered. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to share it so others can be warned.
We ordered Chana and Aloo Sabzi, expecting a flavorful, comforting meal. However, what we were served was not just unappetizing—it was downright concerning. The dishes had bubbles floating on top, and not just ordinary ones—multicolored bubbles, which is extremely unusual and alarming. It immediately raised red flags about hygiene and food safety. These bubbles did not disappear, even after some time, and the taste was equally foul, almost as if the food had been spoiled or prepared in unsanitary conditions. It was inedible. To make matters worse, the tea we were served was nothing more than boiling water with barely any flavor. It was as if someone had just added a hint of color to hot water and passed it off as tea. There was no aroma, no taste, and definitely no effort in its preparation. For a place that claims to serve authentic food, even getting something as basic as tea wrong is truly disappointing.
Naturally, we approached the staff to express our concern and understand what had gone wrong. What we faced next was another level of unprofessionalism. When I politely asked the staff members for their names so I could report the issue appropriately, they flat-out refused. One of the girls present had no explanation, and instead of addressing the problem responsibly, she kept repeating, “You can take a refund”, as if that alone made up for the terrible experience. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and clearly lacked any training in basic customer service. Not once did she show concern, apologize, or attempt to explain the food quality issue.
This is not just about bad food—this is about safety and accountability. The fact that they were unwilling to answer basic questions and behaved so rudely is unacceptable. I left not just hungry, but genuinely worried about what we had just consumed.
To the management: Food service is a responsibility, not just a business. Hygiene, transparency, and respectful communication are the bare minimum expectations. If you’re serving food that looks and tastes suspiciously off, and your staff responds with denial and attitude, it says a lot about how you run your establishment.
I strongly recommend anyone considering visiting this place to rethink and look elsewhere until serious improvements are made. This experience was a complete letdown on...
Read moreToday i had the worst beef biryani of my life and the credit goes to the owner of Ramzan sweets& restaurant 👏. I called at 9:10pm ordered beef biryani take out i was told it’s only available in spicy which was fine for me i was told it would be ready in 5 to10 mins when i got there 15 mins later they said it’s not ready, i waited another 10mins and got my order then when i made it home and started eating it, it looked good with decent quantity of meat but it tasted horrible and smell or curry or qorma was coming out if it later i realized there is so much oil on the bottom and it and figured that whatever qorma didnt sell they mixed it with biryani rice and served this oily biryani to me, which i tried eating and i can’t help it it’s disgusting full of oil and charbi! My issue here is if your charging for something make sure you serve that don’t play hanky panky games and mix old qorma with new rice and try to cut corner for make few extra $$$, because we are paying full price for what we order so you shouldn’t charge for something and give something else instead! Im attaching pictures for reference for other customers so this doesn’t happen if it does kindly post it so i can report it to food inspection Canada until they correct...
Read moreAmazing experience we had here at EID. Halwa poori was unbelievably awesome and served so quickly. You can't find a better place than this for halwa poori, far better than the nearby mall restaurant Tabbaq. It even felt better than the famous halwa poori of the Amjad Sweet Lahore. The portions were larger than usual. The quality of Channa was the main difference. Halwa was so smooth and delicious to eat, and you can't find a better poori with right crisp, texture and taste than this. The sweets are also of the highest quality and were being offered at the best price. So delicious they were. Moreover, the place maintains a good level of cleanliness and looks far more hygienic than many other similar places. Their owner and staff member are very polite humble and caring. However, the there is limited sitting arrangement with 2 tables having four chairs each. I wish they had more space for sitting as I anticipate this location to get crowded soon as the demand rises. Lastly, I hope they will continue to maintain...
