I normally don’t write negative reviews unless it’s really bad but I believe my experience deserves a mention. A friend and i visited yesterday - we came in and both the man and woman were in the kitchen busy. Had to wait a few minutes for the woman to acknowledge us which was fine, another few till the man finally looked at us and asked for our orders which was fine too. However, he just ignores us and walks to the register midsentence to do something, then walks back to the kitchen - completely dismissing us. At first, we were confused but we just waited till he showed up again. And then he finally asked us AGAIN what we wanted and he dismissed us midsentence AGAIN. This happened three more times - asking for our orders just to ignore us for a call/walk to the register/kitchen. Until finally he actually pays attention and listens only for him to tell us that they can’t fulfill our orders and to just come back the next day. WORST service I’ve ever had at a food joint which was unfortunate because I was ready to give this place a chance as opposed to always going to Tazah Taste. Tazah taste consistently has excellent service and amazing food! I suggest everyone go...

Portions sizes are misleading. For example if you order biryani, they fill a massive styrofoam container. But when you open it up, it's 90% rice with two small pieces of meat. This is not how it used to be even 5 years ago, when I remember being astounded by how much meat they'd cram in there.
The butter chicken was fridge cold. Makes you wonder how long ago it was cooked. Again, is misleading because the general expectation is for takeout to be ready to eat immediately, not that you'll have to go home and warm it up yourself.
If you go on a weekday as opposed to Fri/Sat/Sun, they will just arbitrarily not have certain dishes available even though they're listed both on their website and on the menu posted in the restaurant itself. This is frustrating. If you only make lamb biryani on certain days, for example, then call it a daily special so customers are...
Read moreThe best Chicken Biryani I have eaten. Period. There is no dine in (unless you consider the waist high shelves/tables in one corner). Please do not go in for the ambiance. Instead, go for the flavour and take the dish home/work and share with family and colleagues. The Chicken Biryani is served in large portions with a small container of spicy yogurt. I do not eat much so a box will last me three meals. The biryani is prepared twice every day for lunch and dinner. The best time to buy them is from 11:30 am to 12 pm and from 5:30 pm to 6 pm. I would buy boxes of biryani for informal business meetings, take them to pot luck dinners and have a quick inexpensive meal. A box costs only $10, (tax included) - a slight price raise since pre-Covid days from $9 (again, tax included). The lamb and beef biryani are available only on weekends and are more expensive. There are a lot of other dishes as well which you can purchase to accompany the biryani. I have tried most of them and like the Kadi Pakora the...
