I'm very surprised to see such a high rating for a place like this. There are virtually no options for tea, like the tea base itself, just a bunch of variations for assam black tea and jasmine green tea. I can tell by the taste of their Oolong milk tea, that it was machine made and not hand cooked, hence why it can only really be made into a milk tea or the cheese cap with no flavored options. I've had their Rose Milk Tea before as well, I can't tell how this one was made, but the 香精 in the tea is A LOT.
In terms or their other drinks, they're not bad, but they're only okay. I've had sips of quite a decent variety because I always go with friends and they always get different drinks. I would like to say, their Okinawa Brown Sugar Milk tea is not bad. I think their creamy stuff and their cheese cap stuff is pretty cool and probably the only slightly more unique part of their menu. I haven't had a hole lot of this stuff just because I don't generally get stuff like that, so I can't say much about them.
Also, I've been here a couple times, yes it is on the slightly slow side, but I completely understand that there are other things such as preparation, cooking of toppings, and closing procedures that the staff also need to attend to, so I am completely fine with the wait time.
Service is not too bad most of the time, it's pretty standard, nothing special, but there have been a couple of times in which I felt like I was being discriminated for not speaking Chinese to the staff. Yes, I can speak Chinese fluently, no, I choose not to most of the time. Just because I chose not to speak Chinese, the cashier today immediately was a lot less patient with me as compared to the Chinese speakimg customer in fromt of me, she treated myself and my friend in a very passive aggressive manner. I felt as though they were almost being racist against someone of their own race? I suppose it's more of a discriminatory act.
Also, there was one instance in which I ordered bubble tea in fluent English with a friend that was not Chinese. A little tip for everyone who works in the service industry. Just because I chose not to speak YOUR language, doesn't mean I don't understand what you guys are talking about, and frankly, some of those comments are not very nice, even if they are not directed at me. I think the staff need to be more respectful of their customers, and at least trash talk about them after the store becomes empty.
Lastly, their drinks are on the pricier side, but most of the prices are pretty standard, topping prices are also pretty standard, not too much to complain about, since bubble tea is an expensive habit to begin with. It's funny that they have gold as a topping, it's mostly for the IG. To be honest, I only come here ever, for the taro balls, but lately they haven't been tok fresh tasting. I'm going to guess they leave their toppings out instead keeping them inside the fridge throughout the day. I think this is a slight health concern for toppings that go bad easily like red bean, but I'm not going to complain about this too much either as a lot of places do this.
It's not very likely that I'll be buying anything from here again soon, I'll only accompany friends that want to go there.
P. S. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure I'll be getting a VERY edgy reply from the "owner." Some of the replies that I've read to other people are very, very rude. Whoever is writing the replies may want to consider changing their attitude because your replies...

Gave this place many tries however not a fan of the wait times. Recent order of 4 drinks waited for at least half an hour.
Seems to be only 2 people working, with skipthedishes and counter serving it is difficult to please all services at all times. Though would kindly suggest adding another person to cater to guests at the counter and/or assist with making drinks.
Update: $18 for 2 drinks. I'm a fan of local businesses but I recommend going to Chatime, Coco or Bubble Republic. Not worth it.
3rd Update: Just stopped by and was about to change my review until I noticed your response.. and they are hilarious. 😊 I did notice a change after my review. Yet I can tell my review hurt your feelings but do take criticism and humble yourself, instead of berating a customer whom you think has problems financially. Really thought the improvement I saw was worth some good stars. I guess you couldn't handle the fact someone reviewed a 1 star.
Well thats life. You won't always please everyone but being in a customer service industry you should know how to respond effectively. If you ever need classes or want to learn better business practices, I recommend indulging yourself into some self help books to ensure your ego doesn't affect your ability to manage a business. It may go as bad as the avocado you sold.
Sincerely, someone who has been travelling too busy to come often to your ratchet...

I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste.
It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. The timer/game gives you the chance to win a free drink on the house if you manage to get a perfect 10:00 score (I mean you manage to stop the timer on that time).
Product was well packaged. Drink was not too sweet despite not having adjusted the sweetness level, which I liked. The only thing for me was the waiting time which took forever, as in more than 20 minutes to be served. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. I went during non-peak hours and there was only 2 people in store sitting down, yet it took me over 20 minutes to get assistance. Prices are quite reasonable. I'd love to try their...
