This review is ONLY about their service, or, I should say, lack thereof. Two times in one week, I came to the establishment sometime shortly after opening, and both times, the cashier told me they did not have their kitchen ready to prepare meals since their kitchen staff wasn't there yet. I was told to wait another 30 minutes. That's ridiculous. I'm sorry, if your opening time is 11am, this should tell your customers that, as a business, you are ready to operate at 11am. You don't tell customers who come when the restaurant opens to wait an extra 30 minutes; you should have your business opening at 11:30am instead of 11am then!
I would understand if perhaps you needed 5 minutes or so to get ready. I wouldn't mind waiting then. But 30 freaking minutes!!!!! I couldn't believe it. At this point, if you're going to be unable to serve me twice, I'm not going to bother to attempt to eat at any Burger Factory establishment again when you guys CLEARLY don't want my business anyways lol.
Also, to add a cherry on top, after their second failed attempt to serve me, I tried a different establishment in the same area, and while eating there, I saw the cashier from Burger Factory leaving Tim Hortons with food in their hands. Wow, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I get that you can't serve food because you're waiting on the kitchen staff, but to see the cashier, which at the moment is the business's only point of contact, leave to go and grab something to eat, speaks volumes about how this particular establishment is run.
I would give this establishment 0...
Read moreThe five stars are for the genuine service. I refrain from having crispy (fried) chicken burgers/sandwiches anywhere. Was utterly disappointed when they were out of stock on Smashed chicken patty. Hesitantly ordered crispy chicken burger & i was surprised to find it delicious. Patty looked unseasoned from outside, but it did have some spice or season that tasted wonderful. They topped it with variety of seasonings and veggies, all inclusive without fuss, which earned my 5 stars; Many places (burger/shawarma/burrito etc) charge extra for seasoning-sauces, which doesn’t make sense to me ! Many people may not like seasoning sauce, as i read in some reviews, so its personal discretion. Another burger was Veggie, which was delicious to us, but patty texture was close to non-veg. Probably because its the way its made these days for people turning to Vegan from non-veg, as many like to have similar texture to avoid craving. We ordered fries later, which seemed to be fresh potatoes; probably the restaurant can verify that. I liked those as it was crispy outside, soft inside and tasted fresh, but its not as crispy like white-crispy frozen Costco fries. Overall we enjoyed our meal there ! Hope next time i could experience their smashed...
Read moreI did not have a pleasant experience at this location. I went to the store with a few friends and placed an order for a Strawberry milkshake, but did not collect my receipt. Due to the rush, I had to wait for a long time. No problems there, as the store had their official opening so it was busy. I waited. When I finally went to ask for my milkshake, the lady says “I saw you drinking it”. She intended that I was lying to her just to get a milkshake worth $7. I had to justify to her that I was holding my friend’s drink, and that I did not collect my order receipt. I even showed her my bank transaction for it. Instead of insulting me, she could have confirmed about my order (if I collected my order, after I paid for it) from the lady who took the order.
I should have collected my receipt. But at the same time, the servers should have kept a track of the orders at their end. I just didn’t feel like taking a receipt for just a milkshake. This whole interaction, spoilt my night. All this for a $7 milkshake for which I sincerely paid and waited for.
I have been to this location previously. Their burgers are great, 5/5 for the burgers. But you cannot just insult a paying customer who is just patiently waiting for...
