My recent dining experience at Dosa Boyz was an absolute delight for my taste buds and a journey into the heart of South Indian flavors. This eatery, renowned for its specialization in South Indian Cuisine, delivered an authentic and memorable culinary experience.
The star of the show, the dosas, were truly exceptional. From the classic masala dosa to the innovative fusion variations, each dosa was expertly prepared – crispy yet tender, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. The perfect blend of spices in the fillings paired wonderfully with the fermented goodness of the dosa itself, creating a symphony of taste in every bite.
Moreover, the variety offered at Dosa Boyz was impressive. The menu presented an array of dosa choices, each unique and thoughtfully curated. The accompaniments like sambar and various chutneys elevated the dosas to a whole new level, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to authentic taste.
What truly stood out was not just the exceptional quality of the food but also the hospitality and warmth of the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and their passion for South Indian cuisine was evident in their service.
The ambiance of Dosa Boyz was inviting, clean, and provided a comfortable setting to enjoy the sumptuous meal. The attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment added to the overall dining experience.
In summary, Dosa Boyz is a gem for anyone seeking an authentic taste of South Indian Cuisine. Their dedication to delivering quality, flavorful dosas and their commitment to excellent service make this restaurant a must-visit. I highly recommend Dosa Boyz to all food enthusiasts looking for a delicious and authentic South Indian...

Update _ The cooking has improved of lately
My review in brief- Well this place has a decent ambience. The vibe is full chill with music and lighting. Vibrant, catchy music always playing in the background. Menu is a proper south Indian one.
My expectations when eating out in Canada are minimal , because, if you need to get a healthy licence here, I assume there would be a lot of fees, process and what not involved, so restaurants will try to play safe and maintain taste as bland and generic as possible and modify the orders as per customers needs/complains.
What we ordered was a Mysore Masala Dosa and Onion Chilli uttapam. The taste of chutneys was a big turn off for me as for me if I pay for South Indian food, chutney is the core of the taste ! So sambar was not up to my expectations of Mumbaiya taste buds and rest everything was great.
But as I said the taste is Subjective so no hate or bad review from my end because my wife was still happy and liked the food.
Hence a 4/5 star.
Update as on 8th Oct 2023
So we were coming home late and had no cooked food for Dinner. Thinking what to cook or not once home, we realised that Dosa Boyz is open until 1:00AM.
Tried out our luck at 12:40 AM and yes they were indeed open. This is like a luxury in Canada I feel! We could not have been happier than that day. We took out "Anna Pav Bhaji" as my wife was hungry. Well can't review the taste as my wife had the entire thing and that's relatable to her Point of View. My update was only regards to the experience of...
Read moreI cannot express enough how disappointing my experience was with Dosa Boys. I had ordered their chicken boneless biryani in-person and their order sizes and meat were better, but after my appalling delivery, I will never order from them again.
First of all, the portion size is a complete joke. I ordered their chicken biryani, expecting a proper meal, but what I received was barely enough for one person. For the price they’re charging, I would have expected a lot more. It’s almost insulting—they pack a tiny box, throw in a few measly pieces of chicken, and call it a “meal.”
To make matters worse, the quality of the food was subpar. Today, for some reason, the rice was overcooked and mushy, and the chicken was dry and tasteless.
What really pushed me over the edge, though, was their customer service—or complete lack thereof. After opening the order and realizing how small and disappointing the portion was, I decided to call them and let them know. Big mistake. Not only did they rudely cut me off mid-sentence, but they had the audacity to hang up on me! I wasn’t yelling or being unreasonable—I just wanted to explain my issue, and they couldn’t even bother to listen.
It’s obvious that they don’t value their customers at all. When you’re paying restaurant prices, you expect at least some level of quality and respect, but Dosa Boys completely failed on both fronts.
Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other places that actually care about their food and their customers. Dosa Boys is NOT worth your time or money....
