In my opinion, I would rate this place as four out of five stars. I ate the funnel cake in a group of 4, which was enough for each of us, having a quarter each. Although, the funnel cake was nice and crunchy on the top, the bottom was soggy, which was odd considering that the ice cream was placed on top. The staff who made the funnel cake discarded an initial one, which was probably of poor quality. This did add some extra waiting time, but I wasn’t too bothered. With a price of $10, yes the funnel cake was decent. But $4 extra for ice cream? Don’t even bother. If you’re taking the funnel cake home, put your own ice cream on it, and save $4, which will taste so much better. You can find better places for funnel cake if you go a little bit more out. The Burger Factory is known more for their burgers than their funnel cakes, after all.
From my memory, the burgers here are average, but decent for their price. However, it is worth mentioning that places such as the Gladiator Burger are far greater than the burgers at the Burger Factory, for a similar price. Try that place out if you can, their burgers are phenomenal. I don’t want to let Gladiator Burger steal the show, here, as after all, this review is about the Burger Factory. But a place that this restaurant can compare themselves to for improvement is the Gladiator Burger food chain.
Before I end off, I’d like to mention how the place had no running air conditioning, which made it extremely hot, especially in this weather. This might be a one-off thing though, so don’t take this point too much to heart. One thing I loved about the atmosphere was the ability to use a cleaning spray and paper towel to wipe down your eating area. This ensures that you can eat in a space that is as clean as you’d prefer it to be.
Overall, they are in line with the tens of other burger restaurants in the plaza. Burger Factory, if you want to survive and thrive, you’ve got to critically analyze this review to excel over the...
Read moreThis was our first time coming to Burger Factory. This is a new Location close to home, so we thought we'd try it out. First off- everything inside was very clean and looked great. Staff were friendly and helpful. My husband ordered THE MACHINE (10oz double burger) with fries and he said it was really good! We both thought the fries were undercooked-- so going forward we may ask for a little more well done. But they tasted great! I was on the fence as to what to order- I wanted the chicken, but decided to try the Nashville Chicken burger after talking to staff. I asked if it was spicy- they said a little; they said it was a good mix of sweet, smokey with a little spice. I said I don't love too much sauce, but they assured me it was good. SO that's what I got. We took our food to go as we were close. When we got home, is when we realized the fries were undercooked, and the Nashville Chicken was drenched in sauce! I literally had to wipe some sauce off, and the bottom bun was saturated. Also, it was more than a little SPICY! lol great flavour, but way too much sauce ruined it for me. My husband tried it and said the same. For 2 combos costing $43 -- this was disappointing. We'll probably go back again, to give it another chance, but this time it was a fail. Definitely want to try the funnel cake and shakes.... we'll see. They should change the photo of the Nashville chicken on the menu - doesn’t...
Read moreI've lost count of the amount of times we've visited Burger Factory across Ontario.
It was our first time visiting this newly opened location on Ridgeway and we loved our experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a smile and friendliness from the staff. Jenna took our order and was very nice to talk to. She made our experience a lot more pleasant and memorable.
This location is great, keeping the same aesthetics and branding. I loved seeing new menu items, such as the Nashville Chicken, which I decided to try. The verdict? Everything was great! I love how the burgers are always made juicy, tasty and that you can customize the toppings you want. Pricing is affordable, and there is a great selection to choose from.
The strawberry milkshake brought back memories of CNE and tasted like a funnel cake - it was the highlight drink for me. The oreo shake was also good, though I preferred the strawberry.
I love the spices added on the tornado fries. I personally prefer regular fries or poutine over the cheesy fries, but I still liked the options available for the sides. I also love the jalapeño poppers and Mac n cheese bites.
Washroom was clean and the location is ideal. Though there's many sifferent burger restaurants options in the area, I'd still opt in for Burger Factory as they always keep the consistency of freshness...
