I've been a customer here for years. Some cashiers are pleasant, polite and helpful while others are not. Many are on their phones and some stand around chatting about personal relationships and swearing. I've seen a certain employee in charge of self check area on numerous occasions be rude and give attitude to customers who are having trouble with the machines. And there is a particular cashier who I'm assuming is also a supervisor or some kind of manager as she often covers cashiers breaks is extremely rude and should not be working in customer service. Every time I come across her, she is rude and belittled customers. My most recent experience she had belittled an elderly man that was having a hard time paying with his credit card. She is extremely aggressive, has no patience and no customer service skills and should not work around people. Everyone in the line felt extremely uncomfortable and another woman offered to help the elderly man after this employee had been extremely aggressive with him. This same employee has also been extremely rude, aggressive and belittled her coworkers in front of customers. There needs to be better training of cashiers, customer service needs to be a higher priority and just being kind should...
Read moreI have the displeasure of shopping at this location as I bring my kids to the nearby chuck e cheese.
Severely understaffed. The manager/supervisor , large lady also described by other reviews is extremely rude. She was helping in the aisle while simultaneously screaming at innocent kids who happened to open the freezer to grab ice for their mother. The kids were petrified, I know some delinquents make life hard for the staff but I was watching and they didnt do anything wrong. She again called them out while they were waiting for their mother to check out. AT this point i asked her what her problem is and she started ranting, get a life woman , find another job. jeez
She didnt apply the coupon for my m&m's and said that i took the sticker from some other item. I then proceeded to show her how she was wrong and she applied the coupon which was valid. She was also racist to the customer behind me. There was absolutely no reason for the way she was acting. If she is tense because the store is understaffed, they need to close this location. Nightmare shopping.
1 service rep was trying to help 6 stations at the self checkout, she was nice but could not manage what was happening at 6 pm on a weekday with average rush...
Read moreDisappointed with customer service and pricing policy! I purchased three discounted potted flowers at Food Basics last night. They were clearly in poor condition, but I wanted to save them. Today, I passed by the same store and saw the same flowers marked down even further (from $12.98 to $4.48), so I went in hoping to get a price adjustment and to buy two more to save what was left. I asked the manager, Dafna, about adjusting the price, since the flowers had been further reduced the next day and were clearly in poor shape (I even took pictures). Unfortunately, she refused to help or offer any flexibility, even though the flowers arguably shouldn’t have been for sale at full price to begin with. I kindly asked if she could check with her supervisor to see if there was any possibility of a price adjustment, but apparently the supervisor was very firm as well. I understand that store policy is store policy, but a little flexibility and kindness would go a long way—especially when trying to do something positive, like saving dying plants. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer care, particularly when the store seems intent on profiting from items that are...
