Sham was excellent! Omg you guys the 10oz NY steak was very moist and tender I ordered mine medium-well! Sooo good
As someone who loves spice and spicy foods, it went well with the Tabasco hot sauce they provided.
I’m not a veggie person so I only ate the steak, and mashed potatoes and THE GRAVY WITH HOT SAUCE! I was surprised no one saw my ecstasy face when I first took a bite. Granted this is no STK or the Keg but it was good enough I ate my whole food without picking up my phone.
The restaurant is located in the Comfort Inn, where you’ll meet Lucky that’s front desk. Go straight down the hall and to the left there’s also an atm machine should you want to access funds.
The pricing was reasonable that’s only because I ordered the steak which was $50-$60 other than that the restaurant is moderate in terms of spending.
You can find this restaurant at Dixie road @ Matheson blvd just about 10-15 mins from Toronto Pearson Airport.
The atmosphere was very quiet which I liked, although I showed up when it was very busy, not much silence.
The customer service was quick, sometimes I would see Sham just speeding through the place like speedy-Gonzales!
I enjoyed my dine-in at JC’s grill house and will be coming again whenever I...
Read moreWe are generally not a fan of hotel restaurants, but JC's Grillhouse was a wonderful exception. We had both breakfasts and dinner there. While the decor is frankly drab, the service and food more than made up for it. The breakfast waiter was cheerfully welcoming and keep our coffee refreshed. I had the veggie omelet. Not only was it delicious, but unfolded it would have been as big as the plate. Luckily, folded, it left room for potatoes. I almost never like breakfast potatoes, but these were too good to resist. My husband ate every bite of a special with eggs, sausage, potatoes and two pieces of toast. The next morning, he ordered the same, but I enjoyed the avocado toast, with those good potatoes.
Even better was dinner. From a large selection, our party of four all tried something different from the Indian selection, but I do not remember any of the names. To my surprise, I had ordered a tofu dish. I always say I hate tofu, but I ate every bite of this in its fabulous sauce. My companions all enjoyed their choices, too.
Even better, when the hotel would not let us play bridge in the lobby, our wonderful waiter, Sham, agreed to let us remain at our table, playing cards for...
Read moreI recently visited JC’s Grill House and had an amazing dining experience that I just had to share. I ordered the Chicken Burger and the Tandoori Chicken Plate, and both dishes were absolutely scrumptious! The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the seasoning on the tandoori plate was spot on—rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of spice to keep you going back for more. The portions were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh.
But what really made the visit stand out was the hospitality. The owner, Ray, is one of the friendliest people I’ve met in the restaurant scene. He personally checked in on us, making sure everything was up to the mark and that we felt welcome. You can tell he truly cares about customer satisfaction and takes great pride in his restaurant. His warm energy and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable.
It’s not just about great food at JC’s—it’s about the whole vibe. Ray creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like family, and that’s something you don’t find everywhere. I’ll definitely be visiting again—and again—all thanks to the incredible food and Ray’s top-notch...
