I recently visited Kish's Roti & Doubles, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! This place is a gem for anyone craving authentic Caribbean cuisine. Their doubles with their tangy sweet tamarind chutney sauce knocks the ball out of the park!! Delicious!! My favourite are the shrimp doubles and the the regular doubles - never fails, always tasty and consistent. The other meat doubles : goat, lamb, chicken are great too however regular doubles and shrimp doubles are the way to go. For every meat double you order, you get a bonus regular double. So worth it. For $5 you get two doubles- lol, that’s double the doubles!! What’s even great about this place is that they’re open 24/7. People who work the midnight shift (or any shift) get to pickup lunch/dinner/breakfast in the late hours. Imagine waking up at 3am looking for a great place to eat - Kish is it!! Times I’ve ordered the Roti meals, I ask for the Paratha Roti . That’s my preference versus dalphuri rotis. The goat , lamb and shrimp roti are great. I found the chicken roti somewhat dry even if it’s in the sauce - I prefer chicken dark meat, but I think they use chicken breast so it’s not as tasty. To summarize Kish is open 24/7, great doubles, doubles orders get doubled with a bonus doubles, food is tasty and consistent. Staff are excellent and friendly. If you’re comfortable sharing your meal with cockroaches, then this might be the place for you. For me, however, my first visit was also my last.

After a long day at work, my wife and I decided to grab takeout as a treat. We spent $35 on our order, but while waiting, we noticed a cockroach crawling across the floor in plain sight. It was horrifying. We immediately wanted to leave but had already paid, so we reluctantly waited for our food.

To make matters worse, there was no health inspection certificate displayed not at the entrance or anywhere inside, which is a standard practice for most restaurants. This only added to our unease about the kitchen’s cleanliness.

When our order was finally ready, we couldn’t even stomach the thought of eating it. The image of roaches in the kitchen was too much. We left the untouched food on the table and walked out, hoping the staff would realize why.
