Krispy Kreme Doughnuts — Restaurant in Mississauga

I had to place a custom order for my best friend's wedding during this year's BOGO promotion. When I called the store to inquire how to get this set up, Jaclyn answered the phone and provided me with options of how to get this done. The process overall sounded seamless and too good to be true. I was hesitant at first because she said it was going to be extremely busy, but not to worry because she has many years of experience placing orders as she is the office manager.

I was truly so impressed with how she handled my inquiries. She made it clear from the start that they should not take custom orders during such a busy time. She made a managerial decision to make that exception and I truly appreciated it. It made all the difference for my friend's wedding. Sometimes people can power trip.. but she is clearly a prime example of good management.

On the day of pick up, Jaclyn had instructed me to enter the store through the exit door, so I could skip the big line up. I wasn't purchasing any doughnuts under the special promotion, which is why she advised so. When I went in, my order was already prepared for at the agreed time and the cashier was very helpful collecting our order. He packed our doughnuts in brown paper bags and handed it off with a smile.

The store also labeled all of the boxes as I did order a variety of donuts. I forget the gentleman's name who cashed us out.. it started with a "G".. I wish I could remember his name, but nonetheless.. 10/10 experience. Five stars for Krispy Kreme Heartland. You've got a long time...

A really busy location! Especially lately during COVID19 times.

Since there aren't too many Krispy Kreme locations in the GTA, it can get pretty busy here. I came to the drive-thru on a random Wednesday night around 8pm in June and was surprised to see the drive-thru line insanely long ( it zigzagged around the entire parking lot! ) We waited about 45min in line and it was a bit frustrating but we felt safer knowing we were in our own car. It also made it worth the wait when we realized how fresh the doughnuts were! The original glazed were so warm, fluffy & melted in my mouth. Absolutely delicious! We also took the opportunity to try a few new flavours; we tried Chocolate Iced, Cake Batter, Original Filled Original Kreme & Powdered Strawberry Filled along with 8 Original Glazed. I honestly love the Original Glazed doughnuts the best, but the other flavours were worth a try, but I don't think I would get any of them again.

The price point was also great ($11.25 for a dozen ), and the customer service was amazing! Shoutout to Keana for her patience and quick service! :)

For anyone interested, the inside of the restaurant is open for takeout orders only. We timed our drive-thru time against the people who stood in the physical line, and their orders only took about 10min start to finish. So if you're in an extreme hurry, and have masks with you, it might be an option...

Unfortunately the workers, not all but 3 of them ruined the whole vibe. A friend and I went there to just have a good day, we ordered our donuts with coffee sat and talked for a while, when we got up to get more donuts for the kids at home we got stared down at by 3 workers, like can you make it any more obvious that you are talking about someone??? They look at us then say something to each other then look back at us and again whisper something and then again, 1 of them went and said something to another worker who wasn’t even close to her and she also started to stare at us, looking and giggling. Like what are we back in school? When we went to cash out after she made our box I asked her if she wanted to ask us anything, she looked shocked that I asked that, I said well you were making it obvious that you were talking about us.. she was like ohh what noo we weren’t, I said yes you were, now look there are 3 of you looking at us for no reason, if you have a question then ask. She was all shocked that we caught her and had nothing to say! The boy started to look away and act like he wasn’t staring. This was my first time going in kirspy kreme and it would be my last. Need to work on the staff! I’m sure if the manager shows this to the workers they will know who they are. 2 girls and 1 boy! Disappointed and disgusted by their behaviour! Like...
