🍽️ Tandoori Flame Buffet, Mississauga: 👍👍👍👍👍

Indulge in an Extensive Indian Buffet Experience at Tandoori Flame in Mississauga, where over 150 items await you at this grand all-you-can-eat destination.

Tandoori Flame, recognized as North America’s largest Indian buffet, was established by the Gulati family. The journey began in 2009 when Shraey Gulati and his family took over a restaurant in Brampton. With a vision to offer an authentic and expansive Indian dining experience, they expanded their operations to Mississauga. The restaurant features 12 live cooking stations and offers a diverse menu that includes up to 150 items

FOOD QUALITY👍: Tandoori Flame offers an impressive array of over 150 items, ensuring there is something for everyone. The appetizers and dessert stations are particularly noteworthy, providing a variety of flavorful and well-prepared options. However, while the curry items are abundant, they tend to be mass-cooked, which can sometimes affect the quality.

SERVICE & HOSPITALITY👍: The staff at Tandoori Flame are efficient and accommodating, ensuring that the buffet stations are well-stocked and that guests have a pleasant dining experience. Despite the large crowd that this popular spot attracts, the service remains prompt and attentive.

AMBIENCE & SETTING👍: Tandoori Flame boasts a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, with several stations spread throughout the restaurant, including a grand dessert station. The layout is designed to make navigating the buffet easy, even when the restaurant is busy.

VALUE for MONEY👍: Priced at $35 CAD per person, Tandoori Flame offers excellent value for the sheer variety and quality of food available. For those looking to enjoy a wide range of Indian dishes in one sitting, it’s hard to beat this buffet.

LOCATION & ACCESSIBILITY👍: Conveniently located in Mississauga, Tandoori Flame is easily accessible and a popular choice for both locals and visitors seeking a comprehensive Indian dining experience.

In summary, Tandoori Flame Buffet in Mississauga offers a vast and varied buffet experience with over 150 items to choose from. While some of the bulk-cooked curry items may lack the finesse of smaller portions, the appetizers, desserts, and overall variety more than make up for it. With great service, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent value for money, Tandoori Flame is a top choice for Indian...

My family and I visited this location for a birthday, and I did enjoy my time here. The food was great, the flavors were authentic, and the inside was very organized and clean.

There were some things I did not expect and was a bit disappointed by. After reading a number of reviews stating that the wait time would be long, We decided to arrive once they opened for dinner at 5:00 pm. It was unfortunate to hear that they do not take reservations with less than 10 people. I would say that they have a good amount of seating in the dining room, and they definitely could have accommodated for a reservation of six for the time that we were there. Nevertheless, we arrived at 5:00 pm, and we were seated right away. One thing that already put a bad taste, or rather a bad smell in my nose, were the flowers hanging along the entrance leading up to the main doors. I don't know if the rain caused the flowers to smell horribly, but that is not a smell you want to walk up to a restaurant before eating. I had to cover my nose waiting for the doors to open.

As for the service, the hostess who greeted us when we entered was speaking very quietly. She could have spoken louder when giving any sort of direction or instruction on what to do. I was standing in front of her and I could not hear what she was saying. She seemed to have a headset on, and maybe that prevented her from speaking loudly. When we got to our table, another server gave us some information on the special drinks. Once I saw the bottled water on the table, I made sure to ask if that was an additional fee. I wasn't as surprised to know that it was an additional charge after reading some other reviews on this place. It's unfortunate that they don't provide free iced tap water as an option right off the gate. The fact that you are telling people to buy water to enjoy a buffet experience is a bit strange to me. I understand that the food is spicy and has different levels of spice, but people know that already coming into an Indian buffet restaurant. If any water is charged, it should be carbonated water.

As for the receipt, I made sure to take a picture of it to share with all of you so you know what to expect when you dine here. Dinner on a Saturday night was $39.99/person. Overall, I did enjoy the food because I'm familiar with a number of Indian dishes, and the flavor...

Dont waste your time reading this review if you are vegetarian or cant handle any spice.

We went on a Sunday 6 pm (not on a long Weekend), without any bookings and got the seat immediately without any reservation.

Its a self service bouquet with over 30 items mainly from North Indian Cuisine, including soup, salad, starter, main course and desert.

Cost of per person as of Nov 25 is around $45 (including tax) per person. We ordered a glass of coke which cost $5 and have one free refil.

I tried to taste as many items as i can and these items are recommended as a must try in starters. Tandoori chicken Chapli kabab Chicken (Galawati kebab) Fried Fish Chicken Tikka Veg Kebab Soya manchurian Chicken manchurian Fried Rice (Basically whole starter section is worth it).

Make sure you have Naan or assorted Bread with main course items listed below. Achari Lamb Patiala Chicken Amritsari Fish Lamb Curry I dont recommened any Veg item in main Course, butter Chicken and Chicken Biryani.

In desert you can try Ice cream (any flavour), Mango Custard, Gulab Jamun, other i didnt try so go ahead.

Overall taste is very good (some items taste like as they do in India, not all but some really do). Way better than any Indian bouquet i went too.

Foe me the Atmosphere of the restaurant is one of its best attribute. This is a restaurant which you can recommend to anybody of any culture, especially to those who never tried Indian Cuisine before. Family, freinds, Colleagues, couple anybody can go there have a great time.

Service is excellent, staff is helpful and well groomed. Whole place looks like a crew of professional, which is very rare to find these days especially as an Indian restaurant regardless of where itis, under this budget. Restaurant was clean, tidy and all of the items were made from high quality raw material. Last time i visted a restaurant like this was GT Road restaurant, Connaught place, Delhi.

Overall this place is very well sorted and organised. You can tell by just having one expierence here that a lot of care and attention to detail went into the building of this place.

Highly recommend. Only giving it 4 star in food because they doesn't have many veg options and the ones they have doesnt taste as good as their non veg items.

Thankyou,...
