Update: Went today for Happy Hour and was not disappointed. Erica you rock made me an amazing Sangria and ending up having 3! Delicious. Amazing service from Erica who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and special. She was so gracious and a welcome friendly face during these crazy times. Enjoyed my Korean Salmon dish was cooked to perfection. Manager came over to make sure everything was ok. You guys stepped up your game coming back very soon!
First day for dining indoors and it was great to see people out supporting ๐ t There was a good vibe and atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful.Our server Janelle provided great service ๐. The fish tacos were huge and delicious. Definitely known for their beer and a beer flight is the way to go to find your favorite. Great job by all staff and thank you for the great service and keeping us safe and ๐๐ค Update came back today August 6th at around 7:20 pm and Rachel was our server took our drink order and after never saw her again. Around 8:25 pm got fed up waiting for food and went to hostess at front who I spoke to when I came in and explained still waiting for food and she said oh my gosh that is a a long time let me talk to the owner. About 10 minutes later Rachel appears says our food is next to be out and disappears again. Owner comes over 10 minutes later with our food and apologizes for long wait said he is short two line cooks and will comp food. Explained did not need to do that but he insists. Rachel is never seen again and she never told us up front about the wait never came back to see if we wanted more drinks and basically avoided our table the entire time. This was the worse service I ever received from a server. Could not find her to get our bill and again had to go to hostess who promised to bring our bill. Rachel appeared miraculously and placed the bill on the table, no apology no care in the world could not give a damn. The owner made good on his word and we paid for the drinks, did not leave a tip for a waitress who should not be allowed to get away with such awful behavior. I was in on Friday September 4th with a group of friends. First thing was no question to us regarding contact tracing. Maybe this was done through our reservation however, there were no questions when I walked in and out.
As the evening went along, the owner came up to us and was very friendly. At that time, we were very happy. Happy that there was a craft brewery in the area and be able to try their lineup of beers. No issues until later in the evening.
We were in an upper area within the restaurant. All of a sudden it started filling up. There were 24 people in a very small space. I would have been okay if there were maybe 12 people total but not 24. They had not spread everyone out properly and safely considering COVID. I asked the server what was going on and why there were so many people. Her response was these were party tables. I looked around and there were tables in the middle that could have been turned to accommodate people OR they could have created a waiting list. Another solution could have been a maximum seating time. Nonetheless, it was an uncomfortable situation.
I had to get my bill right away due to this otherwise, I would have talked to management about this. I also sent notes through the website and called the head office but there was no response back. This is just bad business. I respect the fact people want to make money but not at the expense of public health.

dropped by after a day of running errands for a quick bite. When I arrived there were a handful of people at the bar and two bartenders. There were about four tables of four seated and one large table of 6 or 7. There was no hostess and one of the bar patrons told me I should probably seat myself. Another couple walked in behind me and seated themselves. I brought them over some menus and then sat myself on the patio. One of the bartenders told me that is was just the tow of them on, which all credit to them for hustling. Shame on the manager for sending the other staff home because it was slow and leaving two behind the wood to cover such a large space. I understand wanting to control the bottom line, but it was a nice evening out, the dinner rush hour wasn't even over. Surely any one with experience would know to at least keep one server on that could double up as hostess and bar back to help the two slinging drinks manage so they didn't have to run the entire floor and patio solo. I'm not gonna rate the food because clearly there was a lot of issues happening here this evening. But really, there should have been someone else on to help them manage, keep the washrooms clean and expedite the food.
