This is my 5th time ordering with this restaurant (you can read my last edit where I ordered Haleem as well and we liked it! Because it tasted like an actual Haleem) time from my DoorDash account).

We decided to try our luck again with Haleem, and sadly today Haleem felt like they took old daal and mixed it with leftover Qorma and leftover Kebab!!

It tasted NOTHING LIKE HALEEM!

The previous 4 times I had ordered mainly biryani (at different times of the day) and each time I received oily and hard rice biryani. (Which I have been updating in my review)

To sum up, not that good of a restaurant!!

• Original Review * We had Lamb Karahi, to be honest it should be named as Lamb Stew, because it was not a Karahi at all, however it did taste really good.

We also ordered biryani (chicken), it was tasty and really close to Karachi style, but it seemed it was from the end of the cooking pot; oily and little hard rice.

Overall, I would rate it 4/5. Customer service was good too.

What I don't like, when someone is not willing to pay the tip, has to fiddle around options on the machine.

• First Edit *: I am updating my review after ordering two more times. Biryani is still the same, oily and hard rice! Haleem was good.

If you are looking for a Pakistani food, you can get it based on your luck what you ordered.

Chefs need to listen to the reviews, or they may face...

We were hungry and needed some good food after our recent trip to Niagara on the Lake. Google was pointing us to another Pakistani restaurant but we saw the SHAMIANA sign and the word BBQ and had to give it a try.

This restaurant is cozy and the food we had was fresh and delicious. We started off with a Chicken Kabab Roll and Beef Kababs.

I’ll say them Kababs were perfect. Outstanding. Mouth Watering. They touch the soul! Heaven on Earth!

They were barbecued to the right doneness over coals with a smokiness and bite. They had a nice spice blend that was very Lahori and with a complexity that will bring you back for more. In fact after I finished my order, I ordered it again.

We also had the Lahori Chickkar Cholay that came steaming hot! It had a distinct black pepper flavour that was very pleasing and with just the right touch of salt.

If this place is near your home or office you should try it out! I met the owner who is also the Chef. This usually means the food is good. Nice fellow with the gift of preparing food for...

Worst place. You will get cold and solid rock poori. Don’t expect fresh Nashta at this place.

I went for breakfast with my family and one of my Friend but received extremely rude individual ( A Girl ) with poor professional skills. The Restaurant had this one individual ( girl )serving all customers, with poor punjabi English. This person could not able to do multi task with only 2 occupied tables. After approx. 15 minutes waiting for a beverage, I got up and left. When I approached the individual ( girl ) at counter several times for a cup of tea, I was totally ignored. This person was rude and shows no compassion for the job.(it appeared the individual was related to the owners. Do not recommend this HALAL SHAMIANA RESTAURANT they are better choices in the area.
