This has the worst customer service and worst manager running this place. Due to a system glitch, the system was hanging & and the supervisor argued that it was not complete. after proving it had gone off my bank account, they still did not give my money back. Supervisor contacted manager who was home & refused to deal with the situation and said would contact within 24 hours. this never happened. when I called, they kept putting the phone down. then finally a supervisor answered but was rude and said someone from franchise would call me. I still don't have my money back. This is fraud. 2nd day of bad customer service and no refund for charging my bank account. Don't bother coming here, I got diarrhea after eating a burger here. not only do they need a food inspection, but they need an attitude adjustment on how to run a decent franchise business and correct their system glitches. By law, they need to provide a receipt/invoice, which they failed to do. This is a crime! UPDATE: I was charged $8.11 on credit card and got back $8.10 cash. but no intention of fixing the problem or preventing this from happening again. Also I had to make 4 trips to solve this problem. the gas money I paid cost more than what I paid or its worth. They lost a customer for life. overall, there is very bad customer service and a bad attitude. this could have been resolved much more quickly had the store manager not been so lazy with a bad attitude to fix the problem along with the assistant manager who all had a bad attitude. I hope this was a lesson learned for them to improve their service going forward so nobody gets this type of bad service. They also need a food inspection as I am still very sick and paid medication to get better. no recompensation for all of that either....
Read moreA&W has truly set a new standard with their latest offering, the Veggie Burger, marking a milestone as the first of its kind in Canada. As a vegetarian, I've often craved a burger that not only satisfies but excites the taste buds, and A&W has delivered beyond expectations.
The Veggie Burger is a masterpiece of flavor and texture. The patty itself is a delightful blend of wholesome vegetables and savory spices, perfectly grilled to achieve a satisfying crunch on the outside while remaining tender inside. What amazed me most was the balance of flavors — each bite offered a medley of tastes that complemented one another harmoniously.
Accompanied by fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and their signature sauce, every component of the burger contributed to a symphony of taste that left me wanting more. The burger bun was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without overpowering the flavors within.
Moreover, I applaud A&W for their commitment to quality ingredients. Knowing that I was enjoying a burger made from sustainably sourced vegetables and spices made the experience even more satisfying.
In conclusion, A&W's Veggie Burger is not just a meal; it's an experience. For vegetarians and burger enthusiasts alike, this creation is a game-changer. Read moreDear A&W Customer Service,
I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the recent launch of A&W's new veggie burger. As a long-time vegetarian, I was thrilled when I heard about the addition of a veggie burger to your menu. However, upon discovering that these burgers are cooked on the same surfaces as non-vegetarian items, I am deeply troubled.
Maintaining separate cooking surfaces for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items is crucial to many vegetarians like myself. It ensures that our dietary choices are respected and prevents cross-contamination. By not providing dedicated cooking areas for vegetarian options, A&W is disregarding the needs and preferences of a significant portion of its customer base.
I understand the importance of appealing to a wide range of customers, but it should not come at the expense of compromising the integrity of your vegetarian offerings. Many restaurants successfully manage separate preparation areas to cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian customers without issue. This practice not only respects dietary choices but also demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction and inclusivity.
I urge A&W to reconsider its current practice and implement procedures that ensure the segregation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking areas. This small change would make a significant difference to vegetarian customers like myself, who wish to enjoy your new veggie burger without concerns about...
