If you are thinking of ordering a cake please be mindful that you might not even get it at the time you requested it for. We placed an order with Mark over the phone. Conversation was extremely clear and agreed upon to keep the cake ready at 9.30 am as they said the store opens at 9am. When a friend of ours landed to the store at sharp 9.30 for pick up, he was told that the cake was not ready and he should come back at 11.00 AM. Immediately the friend called me to inform about the delay. When I tried calling back the store Mark refused to pick up the phone. Tried for at least 10 times. Then I called back my friend and he instead went inside the store and after a few screams "is anyone there to whom I can talk to" the lady who is also there with Mark steps out. The friend asked them the reason for not picking up the call and requested them to talk to me from his phone. This itself was quite unprofessional. When I asked the lady about the delivery time she said that they was still working on the cake and it should be ready by 10AM (Suddenly the 11AM pick up time changed to 10AM).

I asked my friend he will have to reach the party late if he stays back to pick up the cake. He confirmed to me that the cake was no where close to finish as it was still in the oven getting baked (their kitchen is quite open for anyone to see through). So then I requested the friend to leave the spot and let them know we will get a cake from an alternate spot as they did not deliver what they promised. As he was about the leave the place he got yelled and screamed by Mark and I was astonished to find out that the guy even went to the extent of throwing cooking utensils at him and barked at him to get out of the store and never to come back.

This kind of a treatment is unacceptable from anyone that too for no fault of ours. Mark used foul and abusive language at my guests. His behaviour could have ended up in a serious injury. Mark thank you for ruining our kids birthday wish to have her favourite character cake and also for misbehaving, and insulting our guests!! Wonder how businesses like yours survive with this kind of attitude.

The joke is the lady calls me up past 10 am to come and pick up the cake which was ready at that time ..... You really think that I would visit your place ever again to get beaten up or mistreated again ??? You should be glad that we didn't call the...

Their prices have skyrocketed on fish buns from 1-1.25-1.49 to 2.25 what a hike unbelievable. Inflation 11% in Canada not 51%. Could be they are not putting fish tins anymore and catching fresh fish 🤭. How people want to hike prices like these are made out of gold & silver. Who knows if Elon Musk ordered some for his SpaceX voyage for the price to rise like twitter stock!😱. Reply from the owner is good to justify for a frog in t saying did not increase prices for 5 years when Mark sold his business as example if take the fish bun was only a $1 they start 1.25 & few months ago $1.49 & now $2.25 & if this is not increase 🧐 only justification you can say if you are filling the fish bun with one litre of gas . To have such a logic. End of the day the owner makes money on the people working there they not going to have the 11% inflation but just a1% increase where owner gets rest. I should've heeded the advice of others when they mentioned they had stomach problems after having food from Lankan Delights. I thought, maybe they aren't used to the spice level or they're one-off comments but I was so wrong.

I had the chicken curry meal and the fish bun last night for dinner and I've been having stomach pain and acid reflux since early morning today. I've been to the toilet multiple times and I'm cursing myself for ignoring others' comments.

The location of the place is quite obscure and it looked deserted during peak dinner time on. Saturday - which should ring some alarm bells. The food itself is tasty but it's not worth the risk of 'maybe' something going wrong. And I know it's because of the food because I haven't had this issue in forever and this was the only meal I ate out in the last 4 days.
