McDonald's — Restaurant in Mississauga

This location has slowly become mediocre. It use to be quick and efficient with their orders but now it’s become comical. Lately whenever I have ordered with them through Uber Eats, they always never put the sauce in that comes with the nuggets. Sometimes they remembered and sometimes they did not. The last time I ordered with them, I had asked for 10 piece nuggets, McChicken sandwich for my sister and a strawberry cheese danish for my niece. When I got the order, there were no nuggets, no sandwich and no danish. The danish I can forgive because I know not all of the pastries and desserts are available in the evening so they tried to make up for it with two apple pies. As for the nuggets and sandwich, they instead put in a cheeseburger that was never ordered. The receipt attached to the bag was my order but the items were not. Fast forward to today, I ordered two bacon and egg McGriddles and received two of the sausage ones. Again, the receipt of my order was there but the items were not. In the past when I order through food delivery apps, restaurants call to say the item I am looking for is not available and if there was something else I wanted. I can get McDonald’s is a very fast paced environment but that doesn’t mean it’s the excuse to literally give zero f’s about...

I had one of the worst drive-thru experiences at this McDonald’s. I clearly ordered a regular size Skor McFlurry, repeated it three times, and even confirmed it again before reaching the window. After I paid by credit card, I was told the machine “wasn’t working” and asked to pay cash instead. I paid again, assuming the card payment didn’t go through.

When they handed me the McFlurry, I confirmed again that it was the regular Skor one — the staff said no, it was a small, and told me I would need to go through the drive-thru line again if I wanted what I had originally ordered. I said “nevermind” and left — but later saw that my credit card charge had gone through.

I drove back, waited 10 minutes, and finally someone came out who first said the payment didn’t show in their system. Only after insisting, she agreed to refund. On top of that, I was told I was given a Birthday Cake McFlurry, not Skor — which was not what I ordered. Instead of apologizing, I got attitude and blame-shifting — saying “whoever took the order must’ve made a mistake.”

No apology, no accountability, just poor customer service and an incorrect order after I confirmed it multiple times. Very...

I’ve been coming to this McDonald’s for years and everyone is very nice and friendly but this year you guys have a new maintenance young guy Michael he is just amazing sometimes I’m having a bad day and he always cheers me up and makes me smile and he is definitely a people person and is doing a fantastic job . Michael also makes sure that all tables are clean and takes empty trays from people when he notices that they have finished eating . He knows the customers by name and makes sure everyone is doing ok but he also does his job perfectly. He gets on his knees to make sure the floor is clean . He is just a very nice guy and he should be appreciated because he loves his job and you can tell that he really wants to be here . I’ve seen so many people that hate their job and are only working to get paid but not Michael he is different he wants to make sure that everyone is happy and he helps all the elderly customers he brings them cream for their coffee or anything else they might need and holds the door for mothers with strollers .
