I long awaited to finally try The fry with in seconds of my first bite into the chicken I regretted stepping foot into the restaurant ,the amount of old frying oil that poured out of my chicken instantly turned my stomach,I had notified the waitress imieditly that I wasn’t satisified with what I had ordered and would like my bill assuming the chicken I only took a single bite into would be removed she had brought my bill with out anything removed asking if I would like my food to go ,I figured maybe cause of the language barrier she had not understood me to well so I asked to speak with a manager about the issue, was I in for a surprise the owner a older korian gentle man comes out from the back of the resturant yelling if I don’t not pay for my full bill he would call the police I again explained I was not satisfied with my chicken I do not think it is right for me to have to pay I was more then willing to pay a portion for the fries I had eaten a few of he stated he does not have time for this he is calling the police because I do not want to pay for my full meal for the next 10 mins I stood there in front of 2 or three tables of people staring in shock of what is going on while the owner disappeared into the back after some time the waitress who was very polite through all of this comes back saying I can pay for only the fries which is all I wanted to do the hole time instead of have this hole senerario occurring ,as I’m paying the owner comes back out yelling to never come back as if I had the slightest thought of returning ,he stated this is a Korean place and me being a white male is the reason I was not satisfied ,if it wasn’t for the reaction I got from the owner of this establishment I would not been writing this review extremly poor costumer service I would not recommend this place to anyone, this had occurred at the Mississauga location on Dundas I have never been to any other location but this one after this expierience I definitely will not be returning to any , bad look on the franchise , extremly...
Read moreI wish our experience had been better, I really do. We came on the recommendation of my husband's coworker, with high hopes. The food itself was okay, though it came out staggered and after other tables who had arrived after us. When we walked in, there were 2 tables already seated, and someone picking up an order. No one even peeked out of the kitchen to let us know to seat ourselves, so we ended up choosing the last remaining booth after standing at the door for about a minute ungreeted. After sitting for about 15 minutes, we got up to let the staff know that we had seated ourselves since we were unsure, and they brought us over 3 menus after confirming we were 4 people. When we placed the menus on the end of the table (since no one came by to take our order), another staff member came by to ask if we had ordered yet. We said no, she grabbed some paper and took our order. We weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink other than water. When we were done, we went up to pay after figuring out we needed to go to the front to pay (as no one had come by once again). This is the worst part. Once my husband had paid our bill, with the intent to leave a cash tip on the table, the staff member actually called him out in front of the restaurant for not leaving a tip on the machine. We were very caught off guard and not impressed. After the poor service, and being embarrassed in front of the restaurant, we did not leave a tip in the end. As we left, the staff member actually chased us out nearly to our car, to demand if we had, in fact, left a tip, and when our friends stated they had left the tip for the table, she tried to argue with them, gave a big eye roll, and returned inside. After this whole experience, we will not...
Read moreI’ve been wanting to visit and review the fry for quite some time. Doing my research, I read up on all the good and bad reviews! I visited on a Thursday evening around 5pm and was helped by a lady named “ci” ?. Upon entering, I let her know I would be dining in. She provided a menu and I asked her what was good. She let me know some options in which I went with the spicy chicken & Corn/Cheese. The chicken turned out to be more sweet than spicy but was still okay. She had forgotten my drink & not checked up on me once after the food was delivered.. As I was eating I read up on some reviews in which mentioned a waitress demands a tip and if you don’t tip she suggests you take out. With this in mind I decided to pay cash and see what would happen if I put the change in my pocket (tipping after seeing how she reacted as i always tip). Behold she did exactly what they said in the reviews.. She stated while pointing at the receipt “this does not include a tip” I responded with ok. She then said “next time you should do take out” that is when i decided I was not going to tip. This is the first time I have not tipped someone… Tips are not forced yet neither can you coheres people for tips. Motto Fam • I do not approve of the service at this location! To the restaurant: Provide such great service that people choose to tip without being forced/bullied too. Put in a gratitude in the bill and state that as a restaurant if you are going to be making people feel bad and tell them they can’t dine in if you dont serve them well and they don’t tip.. Also prices are high & they do not offer many options for...
