I can’t even begin to explain how surprised and extremely impressed I was with the staff at this location. It was my second time visiting a milestones - but might as well have been my first, because the first time I was probably not even 13 years old. I’m 28 now. My fiancé and I went out to celebrate our recent engagement and milestones happened to be close by - we decided to give it a shot.
I called and made a reservation by phone quickly and easily. Arrived first, and was pleasantly greeted by a young man - I believe was named Domenic? He seemed about high school aged and he asked how my day had been and actually listened intently while I answered 😭❤️ This was all while we were walking to where he previously asked if I would prefer to sit, then gave me a choice of booths and re-confirmed that everything was okay with where I chose to sit. He let me know the name of my server who would be with me shortly, and let me tell you: Katherine was prompt! (And so sweet, thoughtful and funny!)
Up to this point - I have walked-in, been seated, ordered AND received a beer and the best peach Bellini fishbowl aside from Moxies (if you know, you know) in less than 10 minutes.
Once my fiancé arrived - I truly can’t say I can think of even one thing I didn’t enjoy about the service we continued to receive all night.
From being asked if we were celebrating anything, to the waitress sharing in the excitement of our engagement, being told the specials, having an update on our food being plated, checking that everything was perfect, letting us choose a complimentary dessert off the menu and even surprising us with glasses of Prosecco!!! I felt like I was truly among friends… no - family!
You could see the love and joy the staff had for working at this establishment beaming from their staff (on a Friday night?! Who wants to be at work on a Friday night?!) I quickly learned Alysha was the GM of this location, because she additionally checked in to see how everything had been tonight. We shared with her how incredibly proud she should be of all of her staff, because we had been treated like royalty by 4 staff members (1 not even directly assigned to us in any way.) Then continued to be spoiled by two more waitresses at the end of the night with congratulations, advice, well wishes, and wanting to know all about us. Christina you’re the best 🥳 I’m only sorry, I didn’t get the name of your partner in crime tonight!
I can’t imagine how they could have made our day more special!!! I am sooo appreciative, and it truly reignited my faith in the service industry post-covid. Before the pandemic, I was in the hospitality industry - hotel management and event coordination/wedding planning. I can only say that I would have been more than lucky to have had the chance to work with any of Alysha’s staff. Alysha shared with us some of her practices and procedures she implements to encourage this environment. It didn’t surprise me that she knew them all so well and regularly goes above and beyond to support and encourage them in unique ways. The amount she cares, is very clearly funnel-ing down into her crew.
I hope every single one of them goes on to do great things because we need more people like them in the world. If everyone followed in this team’s footsteps - the world would be a perfect place.
Truly incredible! I will DEFINITELY be back. Might never go to any other restaurant again - let alone milestones location - because they set the bar SO high. 12/10 would recommend!

Read moreExcellent dining experience at Milestones Heartland tonight (6/15/23). Food was excellent, well prepared and presently beautifully. They have Happy hour until 6pm which was nice as some places end at 5pm. The coconut calamari and thai bites were excellent and super tasty. Bellini and Passionfruit Mule were well prepared and they didn't skip out on the alcohol.
Mains were a well cooked and tasty Salmon and chicken sandwich with tons of flavour and well garnished. Excllent choices and kudos to the kitchen staff. Chicken sandwiches can be plain and simple, but this one has flavour for days!!! their sauce in it heightens the taste! Salmon was cooked to perfection and was marvellous.
While the food was excellent and well prepared, the service was just as great if not better. Greeted upon arrival and quickly taken to a booth, it only went up from there with Christina and Ivan providing their take on the menu and excellent insight and feedback. It was Ivan's second shift, but he will be great with Christina's help and guidance. The efficient and excellent service continued from app to main to dessert. Christina and Ivan were attentive to all our needs and did it all with a smile on their face! In between interactions with Christina and Ivan, Alysha (the GM) came by and greeted the table with the same respect, enthusiasm and energy that was displayed by Christina / Ivan. It was refreshing to experience a well rounded staff that help each other and maintain the same high level service and energy. it's evident that the staff are well trained by management and maintain a high level of customer service and general attention to detail. Thank you Alysha for coming by, greeting us and making us feel welcomed in the resturant.
I highly suggest visiting Milstone's Heartland for the food, customer service and all around experience. Hopefully you're lucky enough to be served by Christina / Ivan and have a conversation with Alysha.

Read moreI work very hard for my money and it’s not easy for me to come to places like these for dinner, but I was unfortunate enough to invite my friend for dinner and I was very unfortunate to be served by James James, which he called the manager very terrible service we paid full price. I got the strip loin and my friend got the sirloin And I’m so disrespected. I feel so hurt and I’ve been to countless restaurants and it’s like when you go to places like these, you expect some good service but James really let me down. He disrespected me and my friend when I asked him that hey hey man, my vegetables are undercooked. My steak is undercooked. I asked you for peppercorn sauce you bring it in the end when my steak is done that’s when he wants to bring the sauce And I understand other people maybe they’re not as upset but we we are labour workers we work very hard for our money if I’m paying $80 a state I expect some good Service James totally disrespected me and my friend we came there. We ordered steak. The sauce came late. The vegetables are on the porch and anytime I tried to. I tried to discuss the issue he just got rude and started shouting at me and he offered me a coupon in the ending, but I had no choice, but to tell him to take that coupon and shove it up his rear because respect his respect I’m so disrespected, and I would never recommend this place to anybody And all of my people.
