Mr. Puffs — Restaurant in Mississauga

I ordered online in advance so I could pick up before heading to work. It was supposed to be ready at 3:57pm but knowing this place is always late, I went in at 4:01pm. It still wasn’t ready. The person working apologized and said it would be five minutes because they are making me a fresh batch. I’ve worked in restaurants and customer service - I know this is just a decoy saying if things are running late and an effort to please the customer. I come back in 5 minutes later it still wasn’t ready, nor were they even working on it or preparing it. All they could do was apologize. I told them them that doesn’t really help me but of course I appreciate it. I also told them I tipped like almost $7 when I paid for the order, if I knew I’d be waiting like this I wouldn’t have. I ended up leaving at 4:12pm with my order. They gave me a complimentary box of puffs but didn’t even ask what flavour I wanted so while I do appreciate the effort, the flavours they gave me were ones I tried before and didn’t enjoy. The staff were really nice and although it’s annoying they told me it would only be five minutes and it was longer, I think this is more of a management issue. Every time I go there I wait a long time. I thought ordering online would eliminate that but it doesn’t. What’s the point then? I think if this company actually was honest about their wait times, they think it’ll deter business. The puffs are delicious! I’ll wait it’s fine. Saw this place a month-ish ago VIA BlogTO. Was really excited to try it out, but schedule has been busy.

Inside is a colourful, bold, lovely, inviting decor. There was a “small line up”, but waited in line for about 2-3 mins. Which was amazing because there were a lot of people coming in & out. The workers there were very fast, efficient & polite AF. 🔥🔥🔥

As I stood in line, there’s a huge menu and we were narrowing down which 2 flavours + how much puffs to order. We decided to go with the 30pc puffs. You can get a 12, 30 or 50 pc. The 12 & 30 pc you can only have 2 flavours & the 50 pc I believe you can have 3 flavours I believe to mix + match.

There’s a good variety of flavours to try and how much pieces of puffs to get so be ready, don’t be indecisive, just do ittttt !!

We ended up with the strawberry glaze + Cookies and Cream + a vanilla cone. Highly recommend getting a vanilla cone🍦 with the puffs because it can get too sweet so the vanilla cone kinda balances out the sweetness. They ran out of if I remember correctly, Cinnamon something. I definitely want to try that next time if that seems to be the popular flavour !! The puffs were warm, soft, some crunchy, flavourful and extremely addicting, almost like legal crack 🤤 !! Ahaha don’t do drugs kids 😠. Best eaten when warm + fresh !!! The amount of puffs we devoured of the 30 was impressive in one sitting !!

Overall an amazing experience and we’ll be back for more to cross off flavours we’ve tried !!
